Since this is the slow time of year, I'm starting a new game. :hi5:

Using the players currently on the Dolphins roster or added through the end of May, name who will end up on the Dolphins 53-man roster when the final cut down to 53 are announced (ie, any changes to the roster after the 53 roster is initially announced is N/A).

You can edit your post/entry until June 1, 8pm EST, when I will print/save the entries. We will see who will have the most correct in August when 53 man roster is named (position doens't matter, just # of names correct).

Make sure you COUNT CORRECTLY when submitting your 53. Any excess names (over 53) will be removed from your correct total (ie, if you submit 55 names, and get 45 correct, you will be treated as having 43 correct, by removing your 2 extra names from the correct score). So, count carefully.

My entry:

WR Ginn, Camarillo, Bess, Turner, Hartline, London
TE Fasano, Martin, Nalbone
LT Long, Gardner
LG Smiley
C Grove, Alleman
RG Thomas, Berger
RT Carey, Garner

QB Pennington, Henne, White
RB Brown, Williams, Cobbs, Hilliard
FB Polite

LDE Langford, Starks, Soliai
RDE Merling, McDaniel, Dotson
NT Ferguson, Ellis

SOLB Roth, Wake
ILB Crowder, Folsom
ILB Ayodele
WOLB Porter, Taylor

CB W. Allen, Smith
CB Davis, Green, J. Allen
S Wilson, Clemons
S Bell, Culver

LS Denney
K Carpenter
P Fields

Notable cuts:
Torbor, Wilford, Armstrong, Haynos, Murphy, Ndukwe, R. Wright, C. Anderson

I think B. Marion has a good shot at making the team, and I think P. Soliai has an even better chance at being cut.

Pretty good list, though.

Soliai is a NT. Torbor will not get cut....we are extremely thin at ILB. We will not keep 4 Rb's...Hilliard will get cut. 5 Wr's. Ndukwe wont get cut..he started 15 games at RG for us last season.

ILB: Channing, Akin, Torbor, Folsom.
RB: R&R, Patrick.
C: Grove, Berger.
RG: Thomas, Ndukwe.
LG: Smiley, Alleman.
WR: Ginn, Camarillo, Bess, Turner, Hartline.
NT: Ferg, Ellis, Soliai.

Charlie Anderson is not going anywhere...I guarantee that we keep all our OLBS...because once one of the OLBs hit the market....PATRIOTS will grab him....so put C.A. back on that roster!!!

1) They just reported that Soliai will be getting moved to DE.
2) I agree they might cut Hilliard to keep Torbor.
3) They will NOT keep 10 OL. 9 tops. Ndukwe or Alleman will be cut. I say Ndukwe, you say neither (10 OL). But one of them will go (Alleman more flexible so I say he stays). You're saying they'd cut London to keep Ndukwe. I say London stays for special teams play.

Theu did not say Soliai will be getting moved, they said they may try him out there. By the start of the season Soliai will be a NT or not on the roster... he will NOT be a DE

I have a feeling that they will keep Walden cuz when he arrived he became our best special teams player and changed it. I can't see Sparano cutting the kid he loves people that preform on special teams. I also see us keeping Anderson and Torbor you need a lot of LBs for the 3-4.

WR Ginn, Camarillo, Bess, Turner, Hartline - Tough call cutting London but can't carry 6 WRs.

TE Fasano, Martin, Nalbone - I guess we keep 3 TEs again.

LT Long, Gardner - I only have us keeping 3 backup o-linemen.
LG Smiley
C Grove, Berger
RG Thomas, Ndukwe
RT Carey

QB Pennington, White, Henne - Henne will be the emergency #3 QB on game days
RB Brown, Williams, Cobbs
FB Polite

LDE Langford, Starks, Soliai - Soliai may hang on at DE.
RDE Merling, McDaniel, Dotson - Dotson seems to be impressing.
NT Ferguson, Cohen - Joe Cohen has gotten a lot of props from Tony.

SOLB Roth, Wake, C. Anderson - I agree we'll keep a lot of LBs.
ILB Crowder, Folsom
ILB Ayodele. Torbor
WOLB Porter, Taylor, Walden

CB W. Allen, S. Smith

What makes you so sure? Maybe they don't think Soliai will have the stamina to take on double teams at NT. Maybe they like Joe Cohen and Louis Ellis.

Paul Soliai is about the same size as the Ravens's Haloti Ngata at 6'4 345+ lbs. and Ngata plays RDE for BAL (Kelly Gregg plays their NT spot.)

LDE-Langford, Starks, WRIGHT. Obvious.
NT--Ferguson, Soliai. Miami's 2 best. ELLIS is raw at best: P/S Spot #1. COHEN sucks.
RDE-Merling, McDaniel. Obvious. (DOTSON still a little raw: P/S Spot #2)

SOLB-Roth, Taylor, Anderson. Obvious.
WOLB-Porter, Wake, winner of Walden/Moses.
LILB-Ayodele, Torbor.
RILB-Crowder.

LCB-W. Allen, S Smith. (Billingsly is raw--P/S Spot #3)
RCB-Davis, Green, Jones.
SS-Bell, Culver.
FS-Wilson, Clemons.

That's 25 Roster spots. Add Denney as LS, and Fields as P and Carpenter as K, and that brings the total to 28. I have to log off: I'll get to the Offense later.

I've already posted the "D", and Specialists. My "O" is as follows:

LT--Long, Gardner.
LG--Smiley, Alleman.
C---Grove.
RG--D Thomas, winner of Berger/Ngunuwyke (or whatever his name is).
RT--Carey, Garner.
TE--Fasano, Martin, Haynos. (BALBON goes to the P/S Spot #4)
QB--Pennington, Henne, White.
HB--Brown, Williams, Cobbs. (HILLIARD goes to the P/S, Spot #5)
FB--Polite.
WRs-Ginn, Bess, London, Turner, Hartline.

Camarillo-P/u/p.

2 Remaining P/S Spots: The 2 best of Marion, Orion, and Kimble. I'd prefer QUINN, but I just don't trust repeat-offending alcoholics.

I can come up with a 53 man roster, but I get headaches when trying to determine the 48 man game day roster...the 3 ST guys really take away from everything I come up with.
