3 on Offense....3 on Defense...I believe these additions could make all the difference in this football team and makes Vegas’s over/under of six look laughable.

1) Ryan Tannehill-

The return of Tannehill...assuming he picks up where he left off will be huge and is a big upgrade from Jay Cutlers 2017 performance.

2) Mike Gesicki -

How long have we been screaming for a seam/red zone threat at tight end? This addition makes Tannehill even better.

3) Josh Sitton -

How long have we been screaming for a good guard? Since Incognito? This guy grades as the best guard in the league over the last 5 years combined...and number 5 last year. He helps solidify our O-line.

Now...the defense:

4) Robert Quinn -

Still only 28......returning to his natural position of edge rusher versus linebacker....it should be interesting with Wake and Quinn manning the edges...with Charles Harris rotating.

5) Raekwon McMillian -

How long have we screamed for a real middle linebacker? Returning from a freak injury that ended his season early...if he is what everybody says... he will make a real impact up the middle.

6) Minkah Fitzpatrick -

This decorated, talented Saban favorite who did it for four years at Alabama...is posed to fill the final hole we screamed about...somebody who can cover tight ends. I am confident this rookie was a home run and will make huge impact on this defense.

I'd be tempted to add #7 in Frank Gore, as well. Make no mistake, there will be plenty of rushing the ball on Offense this season and Frank the Tank will be part of the equation with Kenyan Drake. Yes, he's an oldie but he's still in great shape and rushed for 961 yards and 245 yards receiving last season behind a crappy Colts O-line. Gore has the 5th highest rushing yards in NFL history and is an immediate positive as a professional to the Dolphins locker room.

I agree...I do think Drake will be the man though...and would pick up where he left off in 2017.

I think I love what Gore brings as a mentor to the Young backs even more than his backup carries.

The only thing on that list that matters is #1. IF that doesnt pan out the next 5 dont matter. The leauge pretty much comes down to QB & Oline play.

Basically true...but we need the rest to make a real move.

I think Tannehill playing at least on a par with where he was is very realistic...whether he takes the next step?

Not to get too far off topic but Vegas isn't in the business of being right or wrong. They are in the business of providing an educated guess as to what will bring in the most bets and will result in them making the most money from people that disagree based on their perceived knowledge or thinking with their heart and not their head.

The most important factor with the team this year is, hands down, RT returning to the same level of performance he had when he went down. Otherwise, having a competent LB corps will also come into play in helping both the run and pass game.

While I agree we are betting on 3 rookies replacing a lot of talent that walked out the door and at best that usually takes time.

I'll add 3 more on offense: 1) Albert Wilson, this speedster from the Chiefs brings big play possibility every time he touches the ball. He is young, fast and ascending 2) Danny Amendola-I know it's weird to be rooting for him but he's a Dolphin and he's already bringing a Championship mentality to the practices and the locker room. He is awesome in the slot, he'll move the chains for you and he'll get you TDs in big moments. 3) Kenyon Drake-Love the Drake! This kid is special, he showed it last year in spades. My feeling is that this line is going to give Drake some big holes to run through. He's a huge part of our offense.

Yep Gore is a sure HOF'r guys like him go the extra mile to stay in top shape deep in to their career. He's gonna be fun to have on the team

I was only referring to players that didn’t play in 2017, that may make the difference.....

Drake obviously was here.

Amendola and Wilson will help...I just thought the six I mentioned would fill the holes and potentially make a huge difference.

Does Vegas still have us at 5.5 wins? I’m taking that action.

I saw a mock from Charlie Campbell that had us with the #1 overall pick, the Jets with the #3 pick and the Bills with the #5 pick. Has any draft ever had three teams from one division picking in the top 5 without trades?

Very hard thing to accomplish with the guaranteed wins against one another.

I definitely plan on putting a nice chunk of change down on the Over for Mia this year.

I'll likely split it up into two bets, one right before the preseason and one before the regular season starts. Even I myself would need to see RT run around and make some throws even if just in training camp before committing my money.

I suspect that if RT walks into the preseason gunning a few TD passes and looking healthy, that line will move to 8 rather quickly. That line is certainly going to move with each hurdle RT passes.
