All of this crap about Tanne and Moore really doesn't matter. We can win with either one. Tannehill can straight up make throws Moore can't and is a threat to run. Moore is better in the pocket and will give the receiver a chance on 50/50 balls more than Tanne will. Moore's deep ball gives the receiver a better chance to adjust, Tannehill is much improved on the deep ball but doesn't hang in the air (can be a bad thing). It's really almost is a coin flip.

Me, I would prefer to have Tanne because his run ability and he can make every single NFL throw. However it is a negligible preference over Moore who has a certain moxy and aggressiveness that might be needed if we are to do more than just make noise.

Bottom line, we are blessed to have both and can win with both....everything else is personal agenda.

Enough. Moores deep ball is atrocious. 50/50 balls on wide open post routes aren't a good thing. Bad play call executed poorly and stills was wide open.

Good way of putting it 67stang. It's exactly how I feel. Tannehill's physical talent advantage is HUGE but Moore's aggressiveness can pay off with our talented pass catchers.

I'm not mad...hopefully that isn't directed at me. The only people I see mad around here on both sides of the QB debate are children who are more interested in being right than team success.

Nah man, solid read from you OP. I agree.

Just can't understand somebody trying so hard to discredit Matt Moore's performance tonight. 34 points and 4 touchdowns on the road, in December, division game, and we want to point out everything perceived as negative to discredit his performance. **** is just funny to me.

Moore's pass to Stills on 3rd and nine with no safety to the left was a great throw right as he was getting hit bro. He laid it up to the left so Stills could adjust and run up under. It didn't have to be a perfect throw, and as a matter of fact QBs who try to make perfect throws there end up missing them completely.

There was no way I expected that performance from Moore tonight, especially after such a long time between starts and the situation. I was hoping the defense would step up big and they did.

Going to be really curious to see how he plays next week.

I'm not mad but those throws won't work against a real team. ****, a real team doesn't give that look on back to back third and longs.

This is a message board about sports where you discuss sports. What's the point of you always agree? This nonsense of Moore having a good deep ball is tiresome. Every throw over 20 yards in the air looked like ass. Period. Where he looked good was on the roll out tds, the slant, the quick looks and high low 1-2 reads. Don't expect the same kind of game next week.

Pretty or not, Matt Moore's connect rate is pretty darn impressive. Chad Pennington also had a deep ball that wasn't necessarily a Picasso but he is like the most accurate QB in NFL history and also had a high percentage of deep ball connections.

Tannehill is also connecting at a high rate this year.

That is all I care about . . . and Matt Moore has too big of a track record of connecting on deep passes to just rule tonights performance "a fluke".

It is more flukey that he was unable to get enough strength on the ball to Parker so he could complete that for a TD . . . because Matt normally makes that throw for a completion.

The throw to the corner after his run was shutdown for a TD, and the throw back to the TE for a TD were elite throws! Yes, Tanne can and has made those throws....but so did Moore tonight!

Yes, Moore played within himself well. Of course, intuitively you'd think five years maturation would help him. You just never know though until you see them play.

Moore is capable of getting us into the playoffs and advancing as well.

Exactly! Threw the ball to lead Stills AWAY from coverage.

Seriously  Has there ever been a game you din't nitpick Tannehill's performance after a win?

Plenty of times, mainly this year during the streak. :d-day:

Unfortunately the only times that Ryan has been apart of games with this magnitude, this late in the season . . . we have lost them, so it's not the fairest comparison.

Still, one guy gets the reps throughout camp and plays every game . . . the other guy is asked to jump in week 15 in a road division game and puts up a 4 TD performance and the response is "Enough!!" when people are praising his performance.

It's just comical
