No matter how you slice it, you can't win consistently with that type of record.

BTW, 4 of those wins was from Adam Gase's first year. So 3 road wins in two years.

Everyone's talking about our road record, but we are really no better at home....just a bad all around team right now in all phases of the game.

But at least they are prepared at home. No excuses why they are this bad on the road. Its like when the opponent looks at Miami, its an easy win because they shown they can't compete on any phases.

Really?? You find that they are prepared better at home just because they have a slightly better record? I don't think they are prepared any less, I think the Dolphins are a collection of guys thrown together whom some have stated aren't even good enough to start on other teams. It's just a bad football team.

The road record has to improve to be a contender, but how is 16-7 at home slightly better than 7-16? That's night and day...

It seems as though we do better at home.

And it seems we play better with the throwbacks, too.

Or so I thought until we played Buffalo....

Good teams win on the road and at home. Miami is not a good team period. They are marginally mediocre. 2 of the wins at home were a dropped pass by Charles Clay and a school yard lateral play vs NE that 99.9% does not work so even their winning record at home is questionable.

For me, the home record is because of the heat, and the way the stadium is designed.

I agree that is a big factor...but similar factors for home games for GB and Buffalo in the winter. Altitude here in Denver, etc. Whatever we can do short of poisoning the water in the visitors' locker room...

Damn. 7 wins?!?!?! That’s....amazing! I would have guessed they only had like 4 road wins under gase.
