The last time the Dolphins accomplished a seven game winning streak was in 1985 some 31 years ago. 
In the history of the Dolphins there have been only 6 seasons that contained 7 game winning streaks. In 4 of those 6 seasons the Dolphins reached the Super Bowl. Bob Griese led the Dolphins to 7 or more game streaks in 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1975. Griese got injured in 1975 and the Dolphins failed to reach the playoffs despite a 10-4 record. Dan Marino led the Dolphins to 7 or more game streaks in 1984 and 1985. No other Dolphin QB's have strung together that many wins in a row. Ryan Tannehill and this current team have a chance to join some special Dolphin teams of the past this weekend.
