72 Dolphins named greatest ever.

I can't believe that Miami was the UNDERDOG in the SuperBowl that year. As Don said, you hate to hear about teams whining about disrespect, but that was an ultimate slap in the face.

I wish I knew about this earlier I would have liked to see it.

Great program... Csonka esp. had some great things to say, very candid and with great insights. Particularly about how the o-line gave him such confidence and urged him to run behind each of them. And Manny Fernandez calling Garo "yellow" and a "coward" (all while smiling) for not trying to tackle Mike Bass.

Awesome show - a total must-se for any real Fins fan.

America's Game: #1 1972 Dolphins

Sun Sentinal.com says...

The 1972 Dolphins can raise another glass of champagne.
The Perfect Team was voted the top Super Bowl team in the NFL's America's Game series. The Dolphins beat out the 1985 Chicago Bears as CBS aired the final two shows Saturday afternoon.

"Awwwright," said Jim Mandich, the tight end on the team, who is relaxing in the Keys for the weekend.

"I'll hoist one ... and another one."

The Dolphins show, narrated by Alec Baldwin and told by Don Shula, Manny Fernandez and Larry Csonka, was an artistic and nostalgic tribute to South Florida's favorite season.

The show re-airs on NFL Network at 9 p.m. Monday.
