790 The Ticket just said that tonights practice was a huge success and they even went as far to say we could have one of the top O-Line's in the league. The guy even said that Houck could be the best O-Line coach in the league after what he has done with this team. Also stated that each of the quarterbacks had close to 20 seconds of protection. I know that these are very bold statements for only after 2 weeks of practice, but it is very good to hear that our O-Line is vastly improved. Finally they said that our O-Line will impress everyone on Monday.

After what he did with san diego i have no doubt he is the best in the league and will make us 100% better.

I truly, Truly believe that with a better O-line that last year we would have had AT LEAST a few more wins. If our O-line is anywhere near great we will be awesome!!!

I would venture to say that there is a good chance that Saban will be named Coach of the year if the Dolphins do any better than than 8-8 .There is a lot of media attention on this team and its relatively easy to project at least a 100 pct increase over last years results.

The people on 790(who were at Dolphins Stadium) were really excited from what they saw of the O-Line. I know them saying the best O-Line is a little over the top, but I like hearing that they gave all the quarterbacks a huge amount of time to throw the ball. Monday can't come soon enough. :mdfin:

I was listening too.

And while they were praising Houck and the o-line, I think the "best line in the NFL" line was said with a little tongue-in-cheek.

Talking again about the Dolphins practice.

Quote: "The Bears better watch out, the train is coming"

Also:

Quote: "There will only be one bad offensive line on Monday, and that is the Bears."

Not to negate in any way Houck's coaching, but I think he also has some better material to work with: McDougal over St. Clair, Hadnot at Center over McKinney, and Carey sounds like he's living up to 1st round billing, Middleton at RG(soon). Easy to make chicken salad with these chickens. Those upgrades should be credited to Saban and his personnell staff.

Does anybody know who was starting at the O-Line and if Jeno James was back yet.

Unless things changed since this morning and Jeno returned, Houck was doing it with Whitley, McKinney and St. Clair in the middle tonight.

Anyone know who the first team OL was tonight?? I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.
