When I looked at this season's schedule...I made a comment here that I would be EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED if Miami was not a strong playoff contender.

2-0 feels absolutely right.
Oakland...then it's time to deflate the Pats for good.

And...freaking finally...this team has a late season bye week.
That took f***ing forever to get one of those!

Today...I am EXTREMELY PLEASED with the Dolphins! I expect that feeling to last for a long time, too. It feels right!
 
But we are the worst in the league and would be lucky to win 3 games. Watch out for the Browns and Bills though and that Sam Darnold has the Jets Super Bowl bound.

Gase sucks, Tannehill sucks.

Pundits are just that.
 
I had them at 8-8 and that is with going 2-0 to start the season. I am pleased with some things and they look better than I expected right now. One key for me was that drive to ice the game yesterday. The offense was subpar most of the day and if the D hadn't gotten those turnovers we would have had trouble to score. But that drive at the end was what used to be lacking in a Tannehill led offense. Hope it's a sign of things to come.
 
That last drive... that pass to Gore seemed like a desperation dump off and was thrown low. Gore's still got some lightning in him as he reacted, reached down, got it, and went on for the first down. However I do think the play call for that situation was horrible. We kinda lucked out on that one. That said, even Champs don't get there without a little luck.

Feels good to be 2-0. Please keep working hard... You've got a disgruntled, hungry Gruden and Raider team this week. And Gruden's always had an eye on the Dolphins and is pretty good at assessing opponents. Gase better be ready to pull some tricks out of his hat.
 
2-0 is a great way to start the season. However, we stull have a long way to go and a lot needs to get cleaned up. But, this is the year the Patriots fall and I think will be Brady’s last season. Brady will get embarrassed multiple times this season and will realize that he will never get to another Superbowl.
 
I just got done saying this on Reddit. I'm not holding my breath just yet. It's great the team is 2-0. But it's 2-0 with 14 games left to play. 8-8 is still very much a possibility. Call me a pessimist if you must but I won't get too excited unless they have more wins than losses at the mid way point.

On the bright side I very well might be wrong in my thoughts that they would split with each divisional team. At the very least it looks like they can sweep the Bills.

Lol, the Bills might be worse than the Browns. I’m curious to see which one gets a win first. We’ll definitely sweep the Bills. They are so bad that their players are retiring during games.

I hate to say it but it's very possible we split with the Pats and Jets. Heck, I wouldn't even count splitting with the Bills either. That's just the way division games go.

If Miami can manage 4-2 or better this first quarter of the season then they'll be setting themselves up for a decent shot at the postseason. Also, it doesn't hurt that they've already beaten 2 AFC teams and a shot at defeating another one Sunday.
