8 starters to be free agents in 2010

Thats a lot of free agents. I don't see us shoping for any high priced free agents next year, because of this. We have to many to retain unless the team goes in another direction, but I would like to keep bess ,and R. brown. who knows what's up with roth??, ferggie is old carpenter has been solid as long as its 40 yards or shorter. fasano = who else we gonna get ? I don't see us retaining penny. lousaka is a keeper though ! jason taylor wait and see aproach !
 
JT has possibly one more season in him, but all the other guys i'm not so sure about. They're dumb if they let Brown go too he should be here until he retires. I think when I read the situation about Roth that he is trying to hold out for more money, never seen someone with a groin injury be sitting out for as long as he has.
 
I want to see V. Jackson in Miami colors. He's number one on my wishlist.

As a side: How much do you think we'd have to give up to get B. Edwards? He hasn't been producing, and his team is garbage. But, he's still super talented, and he played with Henne in college.

Maybe a 3rd?

The Dolphins signed Lousaka Poilte to a two-year extension in the summer, which takes him through the 2010 and 2011 season

Jackson is a pipe dream unless you have pictures of A.J. Smith having sex with a prostitute. However Edwards is a very interesting thought. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Agree. He's still my #1 want. Anyone who thinks he isn't better than Boldin is . . . wrong. But, yeah, it'd probably have to be a transsexual prostitute.
 
We may be able to get Roth back for cheaper since he missed so much time.
 
I would think the main reason on why Ferguson is less likely to be back is his age I would think. He has been around the league a LONG TIME. I think he is in his mid to upper thirties? I could be wrong on that butthat is the reason i would think he is less likely. And I bet that depends on the progress of the two young guys behind him.

Ferguson is a 13-year vet who will turn 35 in November. Nose tackle is the most physically demanding position in all of football. I could be wrong but my guess is the intention was to have Ferguson start for two years while we developed somebody to take his place. Otherwise why wouldn't we have signed him to a longer contract?
