To some this will be good news..and too some it will be confirmation that David Boston will never be a Dolphin......Campbell has taken #80 unofficially spelling the end of Bston's days with Miami.

Man what might have been..........I just hope he doesnt sign with an AFC East team that would be hard to stomach..

I really liked him earlier, but sometimes you just have to let go. The guy's done.

yeah i liked him too...its a shame he didnt pan out the way we all thought he would have....:(

I think he won't be signed by anyone again. Sad to see such a talent go down like that.

So if we wanted him back D Boston wouldn't sign based on the fact that Campbell has his number? :sidelol:

David Boston new # will be 69. At 6"1 320, he'll fill a need at left tackle

someone will give him a minimum contract and take a look at him in camp...not sure why we couldn't do that. really nothing to lose by doing that... he's probably done though. goes to show the damage steroid use can do to a person. he completely destroyed his knees (certain roids weaken and dry out tendons).

Since there was no official injury on him last year this shows how 'roids can ruin a career which had great potential.

Nice one dude:up:

But on a serious note, I think its a bummer we couldn't sign him to a minimum and see what he had at camp. Not much to lose in a situation like that IMO.

Oh well, I'm sure he'll go to some team like Arizona or Oakland. Ya know, places where players careers go to DIE!!!!

It was an aggrevating re-occuring knee that wouldnt allow Boston to go 2-3 days without his knee acting up........Steriods are heavilly linked to Tendon injuries so obviously that plays into it.

Sometimes when your heart is finally BACK into it..and you have done everything thats been asked of you....its still too late.

Agreed. Boston isn't currently under contract so his number was available, I don't see how this would have any effect on whether or not we resign him later.
