This game is a classic!! Marino was young and the the OB was rocking!!!
God I MISS THE OB(Orange Bowl)!!!! That place used to rock for big home games and the PHINS had the best winning percentage at home!! Dolphin stadium just doesn't get rowdy like the OB!! I remember as a kid the OB would get so loud the announcers would have to yell to commentate the games!!! It just gives me chills watching this video!!! I know the OB is a craphole but at one time, it was the homeof the true 12th man.....When the DOLFANS were the BEST and ROWDIEST fans in the LEAGUE!!!!!

I think all it will take for dolphins stadium to get more rowdy is a younger crowd and a few winning seasons but on the other hand i have been to alot of crazy-*** games...**** i been in 3 fights myself one with another dolfan who got pissed b/c i was makin noise on 3rd down...

WOW. Always amazes me how U.S fans still call call us football fans hooligans when fighting in our stadiums died out yrs ago and you guys are regulary beating the c**p out of each other. tut tut. Im not referring to everyone of course but i hear Eagles, Jets and other teams home grounds are really bad for just going to enjoy a game without getting abuse.

The seats were closer to the field at the OB. It was an intimidating stadium for opponents.

Just as sad.....

They spent the first five minutes talking about the game itself. That doesn't happen anymore. The focus now is on manufactured storylines, individuals and whatever else the network is promoting.

I mean, say what you want about Joe Theisman. But his bosses at ESPN told him he was being fired because he talked too much about football.

Anyway, Dolphin Stadium is just not a great football stadium. Never will be.

And it won't get any better. Huizenga explored things like getting the seats closer to the field, but was told it's virtually impossible.

I envy almost every other stadium in the league.

Dolphins stadium almost should be in Southern California, with all it's ambiance and amenitys

There goes O. J. knifing through the Phins - like he never could as a player

Seems like in the 72-73 season he broke 100, but Bills still lost. :sidelol:

[Edited to include the following:] it was 73-74 season (year we died a Oak). I think OJ went 103.

I could watch that game 100 times. I love seeing all of the greats on the side line

Brings back great memories. That game was one of the best. The Orange Bowl rocked. Too bad Dolphin Stadium can't do that.

Ok, thats it. I'm now going to have to bring out my DVD of the '85 game and watch it.
Then after thats over, I think I'll bring out the DVD of the '06 game vs another undefeated Bears team and watch that.
Then I'll call my father that happens to be a bears fan, and laugh at him....then hang up.

Ah yes...good times good times.

I have the game on DVD and watch it once in a while. It is a great game for sure.

I watched that game on TV that night in 1985 with a buddy of mine who is a Bears fan. I bring it up every time I see him and he is still pissed.

When I was in Chicago for last year's game against the Bears, I and this superfan next to me started singing:

"So tonight we're gonna party like it's 1985!!!"
