Not a bad stat, but the caveat that there were almost two yrs between 7 and 8 should be considered.
 
Admittedly there were times the rookie looked a lot more natural and has the "it"
factor. Tannehill however has a complete quiver of arrows, including experience, leadership, intelligence.

Still prone to the occasional hold-it-too-long syndrome, but generally playing a very high % football (minimize risk and go for it in the right situations). Adding in his rushing is REALLY going to open things up. I guarantee the RPO is going to start coming into play now that league knows his legs still work!
 
I know it’s a cherry pick stat right now but it’s also relevant in the fact that so many complain non stop about Tannehill like he’s been cripiling this team for as long as anyone can remember, when in reality we have been blessed the last 10 dolphins games he has started with 9 wins.
 
In a league where “what you have done for me lately” is key, it’s fair to point out the last 10 times we saw Tannehill play that we are 9-1. I’m not claiming he is the one or anything, but I only point it out wishing everyone could read that and maybe breath deep and continue to watch.

Just proof on how good he is: On a day that he is *horrible* he still throws 2 TDs and rates over 100.

You know you're good when you win with your C or D game.

Just more proof. So he was horrid today. Okay.

I'll take that horrid and wait for his typical good day. Team success right there!

Great stat! (wasn't aware of that stat either)

Very happy Tannehill is our QB and some of his runs were awesome (esp the one to ice the game!) . My only complaint would be his pocket awareness could be better (esp during the 1st quarter ) he took some bad sacks and I was literally holding my breath during them cause I want him to stay healthy ALL season.

In the first two games this year I like him better than I did in the past. There are still a few things to clean up but he had two very solid outings.

even though Tannehill had 2 picks last week and none today I feel like he was better last week than today.

I think they mentioned that stat during the broadcast. They also displayed a couple other stats (Gase with and without Tannehill)
