Wheeler still has a cast on thumb. Misi now in a walking boot, not cast.

Chris McCain is back at practice today.

DT Randy Starks is still in a boot today during the media viewing portion of practice.

Despite Randy Starks not practicing today, he remains on track to play Sunday. Hasn't missed a game as a Miami Dolphin.

C Mike Pouncey, who is out, participating in drills on limited basis. Basically walkthru speed stuff.

Getting closer. Omar is getting pounded on twitter by Bills fans...good grief.

Pretty easy to figure the inactives this week.

is McCain participating?

The just said he was there...I'm assuming they mean he's practicing or they would have said he was off to the side or that he was there but not participating.

Armando said that Misi and Wheeler have been ruled out for Sunday...so the starting linebackers will miss the game.

I know we like to rip on Omar around here, and sometimes it's pretty warranted, but there is no group of fans on this Earth who could possibly be more insufferable after a week one win than the Bills fans.

Nor any group of fans who are as likely to quietly disappear after a couple of losses.

Dolphins rookie linebacker Jordan Tripp, who injured his chest in Thursday’s preseason win against St. Louis, is expected to miss 1-2 weeks, the Palm Beach Post has learned.

Pouncey, linebacker Jordan Tripp (chest) and defensive end Terrence Fede (knee) have all been declared out for the Bills game.

HC Joe Philbin said the team had one of their better practices today.

Philbin says play speed was really fast in today's practice. They threw the ball well, defense strong. They stayed indoors all day because everything was going well there.

Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said the players and coaches voted on the permanent captains, which are Tannehill, Wake & Trusnik.

There are two difference dance contests going on in the Dolphins' locker room. Can you say loose team?@OmarKelly

rookie LB Chris McCain said he's happy to be back from his illness and wants to help the team anyway possible on Sunday.

Dolphins LB Philip Wheeler says report that he's out for Bills game is news to him. He still thinks he can play.

I think Starks will brave it out but, may have his snap count limited, with Mitchell ready, willing, and able to take on more snaps.
