For bookkeeping purposes, Isaiah Pead (hamstring) has not practiced in over a week and isn't today. Not playing Sunday.

one dimensional football team without it's best weapon in that one dimension going against the leagues best defense

ehh

I dont think the Seahawks have the leagues best D.

i would take Denver/Carolina/Cards over them

which one of those teams gave up 6.5 ppg the last half of the last 3 years now and also didn't lose a thing difference maker wise to their units exactly?

Inactives: Parker, Hunter, Pead, Doughty, Fede, Lucas, Pouncey +1

Hunter may be active to cover for the nightmare scenario of two receivers going down during the game.

This is week 1 though. How does the 2nd half of a year matter? Just asking. They are a good defense for sure

That was based on Clyde's comment today that Hunter does not know enough to be the #3 or #4 WR on Sunday. With Parker out that only leaves us with 5 WR's so....

Drake could be active and take over one of those roles.

Caroo should be the #3. It seems pretty simple. He catches everything

I still have questions about the defense in regards to the comparison of last year. Mostly at DT. The loss of Brandon Mebane (UT/NT) could be felt for the hybird defense (4-3 under/3-4). That leaves Rubin (30) and rookie Reed as the starters with Tony McDaniel (31) as the Backup.

Also the role of the SLB is important in the under defense and they lost a pretty good one and replaced him with a 5 year backup with 3 starts. I think they will still be good but not #1 good vs the run as they were last year.
