9 Reasons Why Jim McMahon of the 1985 Chicago Bears is Awesome

I think that he's an overrated quarterback. I don't think he was anything special.
 
He was a winner, that's really ALL that matters. He won in College and he won in the pros.

Football is about WINNING, not about passing stats and TD stats. Who gaf about stats. Stats are for baseball fans.

I used to watch the bears as a kid. After that superbowl there was a game where a D-lineman picked him up off the ground and body slammed him into the ground. I think it was a Greenbay Packer. The Bears were never the same when he wasn't in there. The whole situation with Doug Flutie was pretty funny. The Bears were a completely dysfunctional team. Ditka and Ryan hated each other, and Flutie and McMahon were at odds as well.
