Today, we add tight end Gavin Escobar.

He was probably the least excited member of the organization with the results of our draft.
I don't know what kind of offers he was getting or just really believed in the opportunity in Miami for a TE, why would you not? Then watching Gesicki and Smythe come off the board had to make him start at least planning in his mind for his next destination.
It's amazing the way these things end up working out, as it pertains to the draft and this one in particular.
2013.
21st overall - Tyler Eifert (Cin)
35th overall - Zach Ertz (Phi)
47th overall - Gavin Escobar (Dal)
55th overall - Vance McDonald (SF)
65th overall - Travis Kelce (KC)
85th overall - Jordan Reed (Was)
105th overall - Dion Simms (Mia)
Guys like Escobar and McDonald Sandwiched around some quality TE's.
