A Better Squad Next Season?

The Dolphins still have around $29.3 million in cap space and may pursue further upgrades at positions like defensive line, cornerback, and linebacker...hopefully!

And we still have a big draft to help with strengthening the team up.

I noticed we were not going "overboard" with FA spending - more of a good value for the money approach at positions of need. I don't see there is much else for us to ask.

"Lemming Bait now thrown" - LOL

How is it looking worse?

Hollands play had regressed and fans wanted him gone, so maybe the Detroit safety may not be as good, but is he that much worse than Holland?
James Daniels at L or R Guard is an upgrade over Eich.
We picked up a WR that had a breakout year last year, and if he isnt better that Berrios/OBJ/ or any other WR on the team then I call BS.
Wilson may not be great, but we saw how bad our backups were last year. I dont expect him to play much anyways.
Our best Olinemen (Armstead) and best Dlinemen (Campbell) are not currently locked in to play next year.

If they come back, your position holds some water, if they both don't come back, were a substantually worse football team

I don’t think voicemails from Chris Grier count as “the radio.”
So, we were in the group of two that weren't below .500.
That's pretty good.

I agree that it was a nice try at trying to misrepresent our team's performance.

Do you get the feeling that the other poster works/ed for ESPN? - LOL

What if like, Adam Sandler was a dog who could play football really good?

Now your other posts make sense - CRAZY. - LOL
At first I hated it, but have warmed on the general concept a bit since it's inception because I see value in it as a research tool. I have just added a category of perspective to my thoughts process.

You know what I dislike more? Paid human sports writers/reporters who can't form complete, grammatically correct sentences, let alone spell words correctly.

I do see possible problematic fallout as far as education. Is it worth it on balance? Only time will tell.

Whether one likes it, or not, it is here to stay, at least until the next 10km diameter astroid hits.
Nailed it. - LOL

In the words of the immortal Yogi Berra "It's groundhog day all over again!" (Even though he never said this, it seems like something he would say)

We are doing the EXACT same thing we have done the last few years under Grier, bargain shop for FAs with injury histories and/or performance issues.

Nothing changes with these guys.

This team will have the same issues over and over again until we change management. I'm expecting us to take a safety or CB in the first round of the draft because, thats what we do.

Yeah, what he said EXACTLY

Potentially yes. I think the free agents we have brought in are better scheme fits both offensively and defensively from what we had last year. From that standpoint I think the floor raises for the team. Still depends on the draft too obviously.

It may not be as exciting as going out and getting big name free agents, but this approach is the right one for free agency... Honestly last year was right too. The issue was players like OBJ and Poyer fell off cliffs and Shaq Barrett retired... combine that with guys who had been solid to good with us also falling off a cliff (Holland and Long) and you have a recipe for disaster

Between a 4-6 win team
This a meh roster with a bottom 3 coach

Sadly i will still watch every game but if we could skip ahead to 2026 i would be happy.

It's too early to say we'll be worse than last season. We haven't screwed up the draft yet. After we screw the draft it's very likely that we'll be worse than ladt year.
