Shields is an EXCELLENT OL ill admit, but hes been in the league for over 10 years, his days are almost done. If he did come to miami he would only be here for 2 years at most, we need younger linemen, we need to look ahead our defense is old. GO FOR L.J.

No need to kill the messenger here. I was simply commenting on the radio report and the sunsentinal article that said that KC had contacted us about a Larry Johnson trade and that we were discussing a DB because THAT'S what KC needs.

No if you think about it there are really three guys who would fit the bill for us:

Surtain, Madison and Freeman. We are all aware of the salary cap consequences, however if it's an even trade - pro bowler for pro bowler, sometimes, deals can get worked out.

No need to jump down my throat for expressing the point that we should be concentrating on OLINE not RB.

What makes you think this guy will not start losing it about the time this team is ready? Bowens is slipping and he's the same age. I also don't agree hes the best guard in the game.

Disagree all you want...the guy is one of the elite at his position.

He has started every single game for the Chiefs since '93 and has been to 9 pro bowls.

well, it looks like they can´t, but to give away another player or draft pick to get just another RB, with this monster free agent class on running backs next offseason, i would just not do it, it looks like we will have a very high draft pick next year probably top 15 so we could draft another OT or maybe a DT stud, although i would like offense more with our 1st rounder
