First off, I just wanted to mention that I am NOT a troll, I didnt come here to talk smack, just to voice my opinion and talk some football.!

On your offseason.....

You by far had the best offseason of the AFCE teams. You upgraded on both defense and offense. Hiring Saban was probably your best move.

On your draft....

Drafting Ronnie Brown was a great choice, he will be a great player someday and you desperately needed a RB. Your second round pick was questionable, selecting Matt Roth. It would have made more sense to look at CB or OL. You got a steal in Chowder(sp?) in the 3rd and Daniels in the 4th. You had the best draft in the AFCE

On your offense....

The only positions the Dolphins should worry about is the OL and QB. The problem is, those are the most impoiratant positions on the offense. Feely is NOT starting caliber, and I still dont understand why you traded a 2nd for him. You have a good RB in Brown and a good group of recievers, but I dont know how far your offense can go without a decent QB and a suspect OL

On your defense.....

The main question is at CB, where you got Rid of Surtain and with the injury to Poole dont really have a good #2. Saban should help this defense progress, and I see you being ranked in the top 10

Record: 7-9

Well theres my take on the Dolphins, hope to have some good football talk here at finheaven

One Of The Few Times I Agree With A Bills Fan Except The Record I Belive We Will Be 9-7 Or 10-6 Not Being A Homer I Just Think We Have The Talent And Now With Saban WE HAVE Great Coaching. :cooldude:

Thank you for having an actual opinion and not just saying Dolphins suck like other people in Buffalo.

Welcome to the board! And by the way "we" didn't trade a 2nd for Feeley. I'm guessing "we" want to be absolved from any connection to the Wannestedt era! It was just a bad dream, yeah that's right, a bad, bad dream.

appreciate the comments. i am curious to hear your takes on the bills' offseason and such. what will their record be? i to think we will have a winning record though.

I actually agree with much of what you said. I think our QB position will be ok not great, I think he needs a couple of years before he become a good QB. I was mad as hell when we gave up a second for him though...way to much. Our OL is my biggest concern and I think Saban will address that in the draft next year.

I agree with everything except saying that Feeley is definitely not starting caliber.

I just think last year was not fair to judge him on. The line was SO bad last year, we had NO running game, and it has already been documented on how disorganized the offensive coaches were. You add all of that up and include it was his first year starting in the NFL, No one would have succeeded.

You may be right. There are a lot of others that will agree with you. I personally just think he should be given this whole year to prove one way or the other.

The Oline is still a big question mark, but hopefully having a talented teacher as our new oline coach will help there.

As far as the Bills go, I think they have TWO MAIN question marks. The first one and biggest one is how is Loseman going to play. You never know with a first year starting QB in this league. History is not on your side there. The other is if Henry will be a distraction and locker room cancer. That kind of thing can really split a locker room, especially if you are not winning (see the first question mark).

That being said I am DYING for football to start already.

Two major additions which you may have overlooked are OC-Scott Linehan and O-Line Coach-Hudson Houck. I think that they will have a positive influence on our QB and O-Line play, even if the talent on the field is relatively the same.

On the flip-side, I think that the turn-over in the secondary could be a detriment, and could knock a defense which is traditionally rated in the top-5 into the 10-15 range.

Nice post, agree with most of it except I don't think we can judge Feeley on last year. No Qb could of done much with that line. We'll see how improved coaching along the O-line and all other places improves the team. 7-9 possible but IMO we can win 9 or 10 games.

I AGREE 100% :cooldude:

Welcome aboard, but you have to change your name.. :D

No bill fan can come here and have a name like that..there's too many subliminal messages in that name.

Roth can be a force for use, don't under estimate him. But your post is pretty good, but I think we can get 8-8 to 9-7.

I think picking up Stockar McDougle will help beef up the OL, but yes I think we are still quite lacking. You forgot a HUGE offseason move, getting rid of :ears: .

I don't agree with your opinion on Feeley or the line. I think both will be very good this year. As for the rest not bad, I would think we had the best draft this year but only becuse our draft was a need draft where NE dosen't have to have that kind of draft they had a luxury draft. So for us to have a good draft we can't reach at all we can only draft the best player avalible at the time we draft. As for Roth!!!!! You better do a little homework on him, he will be an animal and to put him on the same line as JT,K.Carter,K.Traylor we will have quite a scary D-Line this year.
