I heard somewhere, I forget where, that our team will change (in the future) not only the logo but the team colors. Have you heard anything like this. Please say it isn't so.

There's been talk that they may be changing the uniforms in the near future. I haven't heard anything about the colors changing. I'd like to see them go to a throwback style of uniform.

Get ready for one of those stupid modernized logos to make the animals look TOUGH! Philadelphia, Seattle, Arizona, Denver......get ready for an ANGRY Dolphin!

I don't know. Parcells is responsible for the Pats' "Flying Elvis" logo. Say what you want, it is definitely better than the old "Constipated Pilgrim" logo.

Not the way the colors are set up.

Oh no! I was afraid that it was true. Darn!

The colors will never change it will always be aqua and orange but they might make the shades of the colors different but i love the colors and logo but we should add some stripes on our white jerseys instead of a aqua line and bring back the big shades on the numbers. I wonder if they'll change the facemask back to grey just like the old days.

Their current logo blows. It's like everything else peripheral with that team, over valued due to sustained success. By itself it's expressionless and docile, a nondescript logo and therefore par for the course among modern designs. You can't even tell what it is from a distance. I doubt many people could describe it without being afforded a close up.

The new color scheme is better. I'll give you that. But the old logo was far superior, albeit too large. I always thought that was the flaw. It engulfed the helmet.

I hope we don't do something stupid. You can't go back and rectify. Buffalo is a perfect example. Their so-called throwbacks look so classy with the old color scheme and simple buffalo. Then a week or two later the trainwreck newfangled versions show up and I wonder how anyone could prefer it. Like SpaceMountain16 posted upthread, it's a pathetic fear you're not tough enough. That unleashes the new designers and all the patented excess.

The Pats and Jets changed logos and color schemes when Parcells took over, one new and one a return. I'm not sure what his long term opinion has been of Miami's attire. I'm hoping he loved the early '70s versions and demands a retreat.

This has been kicked around like a dead mule for some time. There have been rumblings the past few years regarding change of the logo/colors. I'll believe it when I see it.

I thought the Constipated Pilgrim looked a lot better than the current logo. I personally like the logo and colors, I just don't like the white on white.

They need to change the logo. It's been proven that changing your logo leads to a Super Bowl entry, if not outright win, everytime. Denver changed, won 2 Super Bowls; NE changed, still wining Super Bowls, Eagles changed, made it to a Super Bowl and a few Championship games. The moral of the story: change your logo when the team is doing poorly.

They need to go retro and bring back a variant of the old 1970's / 1980's jerseys... I personally like the ole 1984 jerseys...

Bring back some of the ole swager and spirit of 1972... :df81:

stupid? I think that every one of the ones you mentioned is an improvement on it's predecessor:
