Relax look at it this way.....

1- Saban was going to trade Ricky- so they Ricky/Ronnie deal is over either way.
2- No draft pick- well ok that sucks but it doesnt matter in the grand scheme of things Saban and Co. still must make the picks they "have" count.
3- Getting a QB is still priority #1.

Mike Golic on Mike & Mike tried to take some shine off miami this a.m. saying 9-7 was good however miami defeated 1 team with a winning record(which was inaccurate fins beat SD & NE) down the strech & the defense is getting older "the window of oppurtunity is closing" so now we can expect the media to start talking down about miami.

The simple fact is miami is going to win without Ricky Saban all along saw a poker chip in Williams if he played well and stayed clean he could pick up an extra draft pick...he didnt ... so I view this they same way I view he quitting
Williams has just had a career ending knee injury.

i agree, plus ricky DID help alot last season. he playedf well, and showed signs of the "ricky" we all used to see every week two years ago. but however it ends, it has been some kind of ride...

sorry, but also on that note, it does suck alot, that we dont get a draft pick out of it....too bad the nfl wont give us a sympathy compensation pick for all this drama. i believe they have compenstory pix for teams that are depleted by free agency and such..

I agree with the gist of your post - that is - Ricky's drama will not effect Miami in the BIG picture...

But, if he did violate the drug policy this reflects negatively on the team and coaching staff..

If he did not...then Ricky was violated and therefore the Dolphins were violated...

If ricky ends up with the one year suspension, its still a big deal because hes a player with good value, even if we could get a 5th rounder for him, who knows what that player could turn into some day...but to just waste ricky is a terrible thing to do.

Without a check of the schedule they beat more than two winning teams. They also beat Carolina. If Golic is gonna open his mouth, he ought to check his facts.

I think Golic meant in our 6 game winning streak. In that streak, we beat two teams with winning records(The Pats and Chargers). The thing is, who cares if 4 of those 6 were against losing teams? We still beat them. Heck 7 of the Steelers 11 regualr season wins were against teams with losing records. It doesn't matter who we beat, as long as we win.

Also, 4 of our 9 wins were against teams with winning records(Broncos, Panthers, Chargers and Patriots)

Yeah I heard Mike this morning, when it comes to the dolphins, never take his opinion, he works next to a jet fan and he hates shula for cutting him. Let alone ESPN are nothing but dolfan haters. I see John Clayton and company still pushing trouble for Ricky as if anything less than trouble for ricky is not enough.
