OK , I want to take this oportunity to point a couple of things out here. first, i am standing by my boy chambers because he has had a unfair disadvantage since he has been here. i get mad when he drops a pass especially a easy pass, however he gives us his heart and soul so i want to speak up in his deffense and say his first two years he had a lame haed coach who had a noodle arm qb plus a horrible oline these things are a disadvantage to a guy like chris.
So I am thinking chris is having a drought and i am also seeing these drops in other top receivers across the leauge . the point is i beive in this team and i am standing by chambers 1000 % we have been spoiled by 10 plus years of 8-8 seasons and last season was had for me to swallow but things will get better. instead of singling out a player why not look at the general problem which is the entire receiving corp as a whole chis has earned my respect even thought he is dropping too many ppasses he feels bad about it and i think it is only a concentration problem that can be fixed.
reality is we still have a ways to go before we are a playoff team so why not stand by your team through the good and bad and watch this team kick butt .:fire:

couldnt you have posted this in the other 10000 threads adressing how bad chambers sucks?

yea i guess so but i thought i was deffending chris not ripping him. besides i didnt know that there were ten million threads on defending chris chambers.:fire:

Say what you will, he needs to prove himself this year, and so far he is failing! He really needs to step it up!

Wanny didn't make him drop passes, Wanny didn't make him not run routes. Have you noticed where he drops them? Over the middle. Maybe it's from the hit he took a few years ago, I don't know, but he hears footsteps!

It's all on him!

If he keeps having a concentration problem, it will not be long before he is in the Saban doghouse, if he's not there already.

I agree he needs to step up, but your assessment of his drops are from hearing footsteps due to the hit in Denver is wrong. In preseason he made the big concentration catch after being drilled. In the games so far his drops have been along the sidelines.

All in all, no matter what the reason he needs to step up. Some speculate that since he got his big contract he is not as motivated. Some think he is hearing footsteps.

Personally I do not care why he is not producing, simple fact is he needs to step up. The 3rd down and long drop he had against the Jets was huge. You can not have your "number 1" wr dropping critical 3rd down passes.

I will hold off judgement on him for a few more games, but he has to step up his game.

hes making more money that T.O.... he better start earning it.... And if you're going to get paid that kind of money.. he should be able to deal with whatever anyone says...

Well if you look at most his 1 handed great catches are in the end zone and the sideline, he never does that over the middle, again, I believe he hears footsteps. Not saying I blame him, but thats my thoughts.

I thought Harrison and Moss was the only ones making anywhere near T.O. how much does Chris make?

My first feeling is that Chris is getting paid to catch the ball anywhere on the field, so he just needs to get over his phobia of the middle. Then I kinda think that the OC should realize that Chambers is hesitant over the middle, so don't send him there. Let Welker go across the middle, the dude is fearless and he'll catch damn near everything.

I just checked the cap numbers and Chris makes a little more than Mare. I'm pretty sure thats nowhere near T.O.

Maybe you are right over the course of his career, but I think he is getting called out so far this year because he isn't making those great catches in the end zone and along the sideline. Those are precisely the ones he has been dropping over the last two games.

That is exactly what they should do.I beleive if Wes makes a couple of catches across the middle the safties will cheat up more giving Chris single coverage down the sideline or behind the safties.
