1). It seems good ol' Sage Rosenfels will be a starter next season. David Carr, according to rumors, may be traded next season. Rosenfels, after showing a strong game after Carr was benched, may get the nod next season.

2). The Dolphins have over 20 players that will be Free Agents in the Off Season, and they won't have any CAP room to sign them.

3). Tom Brady is 7-4 against the Dolphins

Not true. They just don't have Cap room to sign them to extensions right now.

In the offseason they're scheduled to be somewhere between $17M to $22M under the cap. The bad part is they'll have to compete with other teams to sign them at that point.

I've heard the rumblings of david carr getting benched. Don't be surprised if houston takes Quinn if hes there when they pick...and he very well could be.

David Carr has been one of the most wasted talents of this
age.

It is shameful that the Texans (2nd fav) team will cut him loose.

Sage is capable, but, not a starter.

It's going to be better for Carr than the Texans. I'd take that kid in a hot second. Rocket arm.....Good coaching is all he needs.

Houston is a pathetically run franchise.

wait...isnt david carr playing very good this year/

1) I call bull****

2) Most of those guys are a piece of **** anyway, and we are going to have alot of cap room next year.

3) and Belichick has a losing record in Miami.

Plus they won't WANT to sign ALL of them.

If David Carr is in fact available I would send Harrington packing for whatever we get in return and trade, say a second for Carr...

If neither him or Pep pan out then that would be BULL CRAP!!!!

thank you!! .. someone argued with me on this board that HOU wouldn't take Quinn if he was there because carr was playing well .. all the sudden he's benched and i get back to my original standpoint .. carr hasn't had a winning season in the league and houston needs a big time QB .. and carr hasn't proven to be much more than a back up .. Quinn will not be there when the dolphins pick!!!!!!!!!!

Correction, HOUSTON hasn't had a winning season in their history. Those of you who blame young QB's for the failures of an expansion team know little about football.
Carr is not the problem. For the first 5-6 games this season he was one of the highest rated passers. The team has no O-line, no real running game and no defense (except when they played the Phins  ).
I'd take Carr over DC or JH any day.

1) Why would they trade Carr?

2) It depends on who they release, and they probably will sign some of the released players, if they release anyone valuble.

3) Tom Brady is going to get destroyed by the monstrous Jason Taylor ;)

If they truly go with Sage because he came of the bench and had a good game, then the Texans organisation may be the dumbest in the league..

Sage has always been good of the bench, sometimes even very good, problem is it's usually just that one game.. As soon as he has had a week to think about it (and other teams prepare for him) he falls flat on his face..

Where's the proof. Because of the one game we got pounded against Cleveland? The truth is we Phin fans like to look at players with "one time" glasses on. Every time Sage is mentioned, we think of the ONE Cleveland game. When DC is mentioned we think of his ONE good year in Minny.

Now when it comes to Danny, no one remembers him by his ONE last game.

My point is...No player should be remembered by ONE game.

2006 - came of the bench 2 games - QB rating of 89.2 and 116.0

2005 - started one game, QB rating: 16.7, came off the bench in 2 others - QB rating of 89.0 and 97.9 ( I'm not looking at the Chiefs game as he was 1/1
for 77 yards and a TD)

2004 - started one game, QB rating 42.0

2003 - came of the bench one game, QB rating: 131.9

Now, I know that it's hard to make a judgement on such a small sample, but there is a significant drop-off in production when he has started games..

DC has posted 3 years of 25+ TD passes (2 years over 30) with a QB rating over 95 in all 3 of those years, and you say he only had one good year? :sidelol:
