Offense:

Our number one priority on offense is to protect Chad Henne. He has performed well when he has time, but while under pressure he makes some bad decisions. This is even more true considering this sundays game is forecasted to be cold and rainy.

Next we need to do what we did last week which is throw the ball around. Last week everyone touched the ball. Even Ginn got some action. Im also interested in seeing what TE Kory Sperry can do. He hasn't seen much action recently but he's great at getting the ball and pounding it in.

Defense:

Our biggest threat is Maurice Jones-Drew. This guy is a beast. We need to stop him. PERIOD.

We need to be careful with David Gerrard. I don't think he's that great of a QB but he's a runner. We need to keep our eyes on this guy at all times he's got 241 rushing yards this year.

It'll be important for the pass rush not to over-pursue and create lanes for QB scrambles. We might see more bull rushes, rather than speed.

Hi,

An old lurker here. Hello.

Anyway, on the protection point, one good thing is that the Jags don't seem to be all that good at pressuring the QB. While our WRs aren't great (although Bess is looking better every week and Hartline has potential), we have a couple of guys who can make clutch catches. Henne will have time.

don't forget their Tight ends. They have Miller and Lewis who have been good this year. And talented TE's have killed us this season.

Miller had a 60+ yard TD reception last week... the guy has some speed. And Garrard just lobs the ball up to the 6'7 Lewis, and he comes down with it more often than not.

The TE's could be a nightmare for us again. I hate this matchup against our slow and crappy inside linebackers.

Look at Jones-Drew breakdown how they exploit ILB's in this video-

That's not pretty against the slow and crappy Ayodele and Crowder in the open field.

I know i was watching that video this morning and it really got me worried. I hope our guys can contain that because I think were gona see allot of it tomorrow. This is probably a stupid question but who is usually covering the tight end? Does it depend on which side he's lined up on or is there someone specifically designated?
