1. While I am still positive from the Fins' performance the other night, the Bengals dismantling of Carolina has tempered my enthusiasm. Andy Dalton's stat line is gaudy. Carolina could not do anything vs. Cincy. I am waiting to see what Miami does vs. Tampa.
Anyone want to help me stay positive?

2. Strange to see Ricky in another uniform.

3. Strange to see Ronnie score a TD in another uniform.

4. I hate to say it, but John Beck does not look bad to this point. IF this guy is legit in this league...holy Moses.

It was 20 0 after the first half. If out starters were in the whole game we would've killed them.

I know, but Cincinnati is killing them too! I know it does not matter.

The Fins looked good and handled their business.

The Fins are also working on a new playbook so hopefully can grow.

Yeah dude. I also think when we got that lead Sparano got in his sit back and protect the league mode. I really wish he would smell the blood and attacked a lot more.

I said he would in a Yahoo! article. We shall see...

I am not watching the Redskins game and maybe there is an error in the box score(though ESPN and NFL.com read the same) but it says Beck is 1 of 3 for 33 yards. That is it. I assume the box score is not updating right.

1. I mentioned that Carolina was a bad, bad, terrible team. Those were my words. I was challenged by those who desperately wanted to see the positive no matter what the reality was. Well we're watching it again tonight. Carolina is a bad, bad terrible football team. I hate to be a downer but living in N. Carolina, I see and hear Panther crap all day long.

2. No matter what he said. all should have been forgiven and Ricky should have been here instead of LJ. TS has too much ego, to the point where it clutters his decision making ability. Ricky > LJ. I agree, strange to see him somewhere else.

3. Ronnie has never been a solo act. He would have been fine with Bush and the rook. Another bad decision in my book.

4. Beck sucks.

I believe Cinci ran on Carolina as well as we did not to mention Dalton shredding them with the Pass. NE put up 47 pts on Jax and and 31 on Tampa so I would expect Tampa to be pushovers as well Sat night or else your fears may just be true. BTW the Jets beat Cinci 27 to 7.

Beck is 1/4, for 33 yards and an interception. Not exactly lighting it up, but probably the best game he has ever had. lol

Yeah, we're competitive with the other "Tidy Bowl" teams.

Beck threw a scripted first pass beauty deep for 33 yards ... then rolled over & died ... against a struggling Raven defense of all things!!

Was comical ... looked like the 2 teams swapped uniforms ... Washington snuffed them on D repeatedly, then the Washington O gutted them. Joe "I'm one of the great ones too" Flacco looked like Henne last season. Ricky even ran into him picking up the pass rush.

week 2 = no game planning and evaluating players.

week 3 = rehearsal for regular season.

At least TB is a fairly decent team so we should have a better idea of where the Dolphins stand on Saturday.

I saw the Jet/Bengal game and was expecting to see domination but I didn't. Dalton served up some early int's but they played tough up front. The Jets had a couple big plays but were not controlling the LOS, statistically. Cincy has the new QB, and rec. corps but their coaching, OL, and running game are all seasoned, as is their defense. After a tough loss and a lot of crap in the media I'm not surprised they are going off.

Carolina on the other hand has some good players but with a new coaching staff, rookie QB, new schemes, and no off season, has lots of work to do. Miami should have scored more points on them, but convincingly controlled the LOS.

If you thought last weeks game vs. the Panthers was a good measuring stick then you were very sadly mistaken. A preseason game vs the worst team in the entire league last year doesn't prove anything unless you look really bad against them then it would tell you that you suck. I did take away a couple of positive things from that game though like Gates can fly and beat DB's deep, Bush looks better than expected with his tough running, and Kevin Burnett looks like an absolute stud in pass coverage. Overall though as a team are we ready to compete? I have no idea as there are still many questions but boy I hope so! lol

Grossman outperformed beck hands down. I saw enough if the game to see that beck still isn't ready. That's why they put grossman in.

a couple names i saw last night who might be on the chopping block from the skins ravens game...by the way skins first team d looked pretty darn good...flying around to the ball

anyways...

sellers the fb from washington looks to be an odd man out...there was a kid named austin from washington a wr 7th round pick a year ago who was flashing all over the place...jalen parmalee rb ravens who was drafted by us and poached by the ravens years ago who at the time i thought had more upside than lex hilliard looks like he may be on the outs in baltimore

b/t if i was washington after what i saw last night my week 1 starter would be jon beck...not grossman...

i swear to god in shannys offense it doesn't matter what you got up front on the oline or in the backfield you are just gonna run the ball with success...crazy how easily they can run the ball in that o
