Well. This has pretty much been it. Reality has set in. No playoffs. Thinking about the draft and FA.

Still, I will not root for another team unless they are playing the Pats and will always be a Dolphin Fan.

I believe.

I've been a Red Sox fan since the early 60s. These dolphin fans think they got something to cry about? I understand some of him worn around during the glory years, but geez. Come talk to me when they start writing books about curses about the Dolphins

It's a feeling we're all too familiar with that's for sure. I hope I live to see the day when Miami actually goes deep into the playoffs.

I do rememebr...I do ..I do...

Let me tell you....

Once upon a time when Florida was luscious and green and on I95 rush hour meant 30 instead of 10 cars.....

There was no I95 the last time the Dolphins won the Super Bowl. The furthest south it went was St Lucie.
It was either the Floridas turnpike, Dixie hwy, or Federal hwy going north out of south Florida.
Anybody else use to count Stuckey's signs while traveling north?
Almost 1/2 a century has passed.

It's very sad bro when I am more excited with what the San Diego Padres are doing this time of year rather than the Miami Dolphins.

Panthers took the Canadiens to overtime tonight, damn near pulled it off. Best team in South Florida right now.

The hardest thing is that since the super bowl win in 73, the expansion marlins have won 2 world series, the expansion heat has won 3 NBA championships and even the Panthers went to a Stanley cup finals. There's been 7 presidents since. Last time we won there were no cell phones and there was no internet yet. There were also no CDs or DVDs. Should I go on? It's depressing that we're stuck on the dinosaurs era while everyone else is living in the now.

That won't be too long now the way we're going here.

Oh I forgot. Last time we won all The Beatles were still alive. Now there's only 2 left.

You guys look solid, some good young talent in Huberdeau, Bjugstad, Ekblad (who's gonna be the Calder winner most likely). My Devils, on the other hand, have 3 coaches and it's all about McDavid/Eichel.

Not exactly. When I moved to West Palm Beach in '66, they were just finishing a portion of I95 from PGA Blvd in Palm Beach Gardens to Okeechobee Road in West Palm, maybe 10 miles or so. But you're right that it didn't go all the way through like it does today.

Turnpike to fort piece. Then they finally aquired land to go around Saint Lucie and finally I95 was complete. Port Saint Lucie was an issue.
