DAVIE - Wherever he has been, Bill Parcells, the Dolphins' vice president of football operations, has been a proponent of tight end-friendly offenses.

So it's no surprise that Anthony Fasano is having a breakout season.

Just three games into his first season with the Dolphins, Fasano is tied for the team lead with 11 receptions for a team-high 150 yards and a career-high two touchdowns. He is three shy of his career high of 14 receptions, accomplished in 2006-2007 when he played behind Cowboys four-time Pro Bowl tight end Jason Witten.

Judging from the success that the tight ends of every Chargers opponent have had this season, the Dolphins and Fasano should be downright giddy Sunday when they host San Diego.......

I wonder howcome fasano wasn't such a player in big D ... witten's role probably left no place for him to showcase his talent. Him alone is definitely worth the 4th rounder as of right now

I agree with you...he alone is worth the 4th rounder we gave up....but I mean stealing playing time from Witten would be pretty tough..but hey he got to learn from Witten, so maybe that is a large part of why he has been successful
 
Well he has been putting up respectable numbers onmy fantasy team

I didnt have a replacement for him during the bye week and instead of cutting him and picking someone else up- i let him score a big goose egg- still won though :lol:

I am sure we will be seeing a lot more writes up on our new TE in future weeks
