11 Trusnicks and a fist pumping meatball

I didn't want to post this but Sparano actually had the nerve to praise Trusnik the other day. Said he gives 100% all time and wished he had 10 other Trusniks.
GOD i hate that man.
Ridiculous statement... Livas only had 1 good play and I was not impressed with what I saw from him during the next 3 preseason games...
We have the weapon (Reggie Bush) we need on special teams, we have to use it...
It doesn't really matter if we start EVERY drive at at least the 20 yard line. Because you know there will be a false start penalty on the next snap anyway.
You have to get a little deeper into the game of football. It is not just about the returns, it is also about how the other team approaches the player they are kicking to. If you watch the games again and pay attention you will see that the teams we played made certain that they kicked short, kicked away, kicked long or kicked out of bounds when P Livas was in the game. We gained hidden yards on every exchange of punts and on kick returns. The teams we played had a scheme in just because we had P Livas as our returner. When we took Livas out, they started kicking normally again.
Now look at us, we have the worse drive starting position in the NFL and we are almost last in Kick returns and punt returns. If a team cannot do the little things how are they every going to do the big ones?
On the other hand, has that TE Rosaro even played in a game? How many snap per game is he averaging? Does he have a catch or been throw to?
Phillip Livas would play 20 snaps a game, that is 20 less snaps that D Bess and C Gates do not have to play per game. IMO, P Livas is also a very quick, very fast slot WR. He caught the one pass threw to him and turned a 8 yard catch into a 16 yard one.
The simple fact is that whatever you might think of P Livas, he is still better then D Bess and C Gates are in punt and kick returns. In 3 years, D Bess has never come close to returning a punt, in preseason or regular season. And C Gates, who has more kick off returns then any other player in the NFL, is almost last at 29th in the NFL.
When we get a much better offense maybe I will not worry so much about these "little things" like field positions and making plays in special teams.
As for R Bush, when we see him on kick offs or punt returns we will know our coaches have said 'fuxk it, we have no ideas".

.
I take it you didnt know he was released on Thursday
