NOW I MAY BE WAY OFF HERE BUT I WANT TO BE OBJECTIVE , YET REALISTIC. in order for us to reach the 500. mark or better we need these things to come together.

#1 ( vip) our qbs must start getting it together yet it is still early and there is time for improvement. nevertheless even sage and brock need to step up.

#2 (vip) our oline esp center needs to play well and show improvement. we all know who i am reffering to.

#3 not as critical but still , the tight ends with randy's situation we may need to sign another te . if anybody gets a chance see if you can find out how alex holmes is doing. donald lee has as much of a chance of catching a pass as i have of dating the dolphins cheerleaders, which is a neg 100%

#4 if guys keep retiring at this rate we will have to call the 72' season players back into duty just like the army.

#5 now i feel very confident in our wr corp and our rb corp. the big question is can we pay someone to take whitley and mckinnley off our hands?

all in all, i think the deffense seems like it is coming along fairly well so i am not too worried here. the offense sure does worry me especially with the high expectations that most dolphin fans have. if things go well on the oline and qb positions we will reach the 500. but if not we can be looking at a 4-12 win season agian. these are only my concerns and i know its early but still i feel a tremor in the force.
so what are you guys worried about?:couch2:

You're in Lawton, Ok, where at Fort Sill?

at this point i am really nervous about the QB position, i am all on the AJ bandwagon but i am afraid of him having Ryan Leaf Syndrome(all potential and thinks like an idiot),

The Randy Situation needs to be sized up quickly and the league needs to figure out what we are going to do...no way Lee starts.. (Ed Perry??)

i actually live north of lawton in a small town apache .do you live in fort sill?

Objective and realistic indeed.

We might need a good center. Because Seth McKinney (sp?) is ticking me off.

Alex Holmes is doing well from what I can tell from TC Reports. Personally, I would love to see Donald Lee actually be a very good back up. But if he keeps on messing, then he has to go.

As for our QB's, I agree 50%. Mostly because A.J. Feeley, Gus Frerotte, Sage Rosenfels, and even Brock Berlin have been improving little by little. A.J. Feeley is starting shed the habit of locking onto his receivers.

My major concern is our secondary. Specifically CB depth. With Deandre Eiland (sp?) being converted to CB, I think we would need a good veteran for CB for good measure.

i completly agree with you phinsoda i just hope that alex holmes can make the roster. we could try and get vinny t. but most people would hate that idea. i say we trade for michael vick i say we trade 2 wrs and gordon and a 3rd pick . i bet we could get vick to his potential.

your right silverphin on the part of the qbs yet i have a bad feeling about a.j feely but i will give him a chance. i really feel guys , that nick needs to light a fire under mckinney, smith , and donald lee.

that would be a madden only trade...Vick will be a Falcon for the rest of his life until his contract is up and atlanta doesnt resign him.......Vinny should have retired with Danny...If Gus Starts, We will go QB EARLY in the draft.....dont know i am wondering if we could make a big trade for Rivers...

That is a realistic assesment, The QB and O line play is important for us this season

you know guys this might not be too good of a idea but since we have depth at wr and rb i dont see why we couldn't fid a qb like rivers or david garrard if that s his name. but the chargers dont need a rb . this is what i would do . i would trade thompson , gillmore and a draft pick for rivers then trade kay jay harris for rashain woods wr from sf. because they are screwing him over. rashuan woods would fit in good with boston and chambers.

That draft pick is gonna have it be a first round draft pick.

I'ts funny but I always saw Donald Lee's athleticism when he was out there yet everytime he caught the ball he would tunr the corner and fumble. Anyone else notice the same???

Atlanta has drafted a wr in the first round each of the last two years, traded a first round pick for Peerless Price and Have Tj Duckett and Warrick Dunn at Rb. In order for Michael Vick to become a dolphin your going to have to offer a different package of players, or draft picks.
