Sean Ryan: TE

Said to be great at run blocking...he better be, with his size.

And last but not least, if in fact we signed Ian Gold...

Ian Gold OLB
Age: 29
Height/Weight: 6'0, 223 (sounds like a SS to me)
2007 stats: 2 sacks, 1 INT, 72 tackles, 61 solo

So it sounds to me like we ARE getting younger, a few of these guys seem like depth, a few seem like starters. im not impressed with signing McCown, but perhaps his flaws are due to the fact that he played for Oakland...but u can already tell our defense is rising, i say Top 15 defense this year..

Earnest Wilford is good Wideout, period. glad he went to my second favorite team, my frist team is the Jags

Pace isn't signed...

SI.com's Bucky Brooks reports the Dolphins have signed free agent LB Calvin Pace to a contract that will guarantee him over $20 million.

Brooks could be dead on here, but we're going to wait before assuming this is done until we hear it from one of the teams. Pace indicated to the Miami Herald late Friday that he wanted to visit the Jets before signing a deal.
