We had 52 yards rushing today, Tannehill had 36 of those. Miller rushed 10 times for 8 yards and Thomas rushed 3 times for 8 yards.. Sturgis missed a field goal. The Defense allowed an easy fieldgoal drive before the half and also a 4th and long with the game on the line.

Tannehill was 28 for 42 for a 66.6% completion rate, last time I checked that is not inaccurate as some haters have stated. Yes, he missed a deep throw, but he hit 2 as well. He also ran more today. He also got the ball to hit Wallace in the hands for a potential game winner at the end of the game. A more physical receiver comes up with that. The Tanne haters are saying stupid *** stuff, like Tanne supporters think he is perfect or some freaking people said we think he is God (GTF outta here). He has made some mistakes, as all QBs in this league do....but he is the reason we are in games period! How the hell are you suppose to win games rushing for 16 yards with your running backs?

We have a make shift offensive line who can't run block, no conventional TE or legit redzone threat, and a defense that played well but fell asleep at the end of the half and couldn't get a stop to win the game. How the hell is that Tanne's fault?

Tannehill did his part to win the game today.

Dude, these morons are retards if that makes any sense

I think by far the DUMBEST one I read was something along the lines of I am okay with Jeff Ireland, but Tanne and Philbin have to go. LMAO! Either this guy is related to Ireland, or has no clue at all!

Where is the group who said rbs are a dime a dozen. With our ****ty oline we needed a back like Tolbert we gets tough yards not a speedster and a poor short yardage back. Rbs help control the clock.

I could wait for the oline excuse, but we are not the only team with oline issues. Seattle and San Diego line was as banged up as ours.

Our bruising RB is another Jeff Ireland 2nd round jewel who is 230 pounds and runs like he is 200 pounds standing straight up......and is hurt, yet again!

90% of the time, I think the problem with our running game is the blocking. Today, the holes were clear as day and the backs were flat out missing them.

I am the first to blame Tannehill, but after relaxing a bit, you're right.

No QB can be successful without a running game.

Tannehill is not elite right now. But these clowns that think hes garbage are ridiculous. They pick out plays that he missed yet dont give him credit when he makes plays. He missed that one play to Wallace that they are quick to point out....how about the the TD? How about the dropped TD? How about the slant for a 1st down that Wallace dropped? They whine about him underthowing Wallace on that other ball that went for a HUGE gain...not even noticing the fact that he was on the move and threw it 60+ yards in the air. WHAT HE CANT THROW IT ACROSS HIS BODY 70 YARDS!! HE SUCKS

Absolutely, he is not elite....but seriously who would be elite with this O-line, lack of running game, and no real TE. We have some good receivers, but not one you can just throw it up to and they will fight for it and bring it down!

Absolutely. Absolutely. I have never, ever said he is elite. I have never said he is great. But he is far from garbage and he is getting better. He has a lot of potential, and he is showing that he has the ability to move toward reaching that potential.

My biggest problem with the plays they pick out to criticize is that I don't think those are the plays that should be criticized. He is BOMBING the football 60+ yards in the air, that is not something all QBs are even capable of. The timing of these plays is suspect. This is also on Mike Sherman, folks. He is dialing up plays where it is physically impossible for his QB to hit his WR in stride if the WR gets a clean release. Why?

I am far more concerned about his decision-making when he is scrambling to his right. Two terrible throws today on those plays. He needs to work on that ASAP. I don't understand how anyone criticizes the deep balls today when they were actually honest to goodness good throws that were productive for the team on 2 out of 4 tries with a third that was almost an amazing play in a desperate situation with the QB getting rocked. The interception was a terrible decision. The miss on the scramble drill to Wallace where he clearly thought Wallace was going to come back instead of going downfield was awful. Those are the plays that merit scrutiny.

Solid post OP. I can understand the frustration from some of the fans on here but they need to understand Thill is doing all he can.
This is just my opinion, but I think Philbin is doing a good job. I think you can only coach what you are given as players. Ireland is HORRIBLE and has been HORRIBLE! He was more aggressive this offseason, but most of it hasn't really panned out because in being so aggressive with skilled positions, he neglected the foundation of the team. His move to the number 3 pick in the draft has really not paid dividends, and Grimes is really the only really positive from all of it and that was a crap shoot! This is just my opinion, Ireland must go as it seems like he has maybe a 20% hit rate on players.
