The handwringing over the Sunday loss is understandable. It was a frustrating loss, no doubt.

But the NFL is very much about parity. The last few years it's been the teams that have gotten hot in December who won. Not the talking head's picks.

The last two Super Bowl champions were also 5-4. Does that mean we are going to the super bowl? No. Does that mean we won't make the playoffs? No.

What it means is that there's a lot of season left to be played. And that the worst thing the Fins could do right now would be panic. But of course, they aren't. Only some of the fans are.

But just keep it in perspective. Three wins in a row is no guarantee of post season success either. This team as currently constructed has a better chance in the playoffs (and yes, I'm assuming we'll make it) than any team since the 94-95 season.

Lots of Red flags is what is concerning me (and most dolfans)
I wouldnt mind the fins losing a couple close ones against good teams but the way they have played, lacking emotion, careless turnovers, sloppy play cannot overjoy us...
I have been looking for postives but apart from the fact that we're still in the running for the crown in the East i dont see much...

I'm not saying I'm not concerned. And that there aren't red flags and problems that need to be corrected. But the team has a lot of talent, a good levelheaded coach, and a very winnable remainder of their schedule. It just seems like there are a ton of posts one step away from turning the gas on and closing the windows. Or wanting everyone from Wanny down to the ballboys fired.

We need to turn it around, for sure, but it's not as dire as some "fans" seem to think. Of course, three wins in a row and those same nameless fans will be swearing that Ray Lucas should keep the starting job and that Arturo Freeman should go to the pro bowl.

My problem is if Jay is really going to return Dec 9th that would mean Ray has to lead us to victory against Baltimore, and 1 of the games against the Chargers and Bills, and then Ray has to win against Oakland and New England. Not to mention he cant have a break down against Chigago or Minn. I just don't see Ray leading us to victory against Baltimore moreless the other 2. It is just not very likley, we need to finish at least 11-5 to get homefeild. For those that aren't very good at math that is only 1 more loss.
