So,

Jason Taylor: Defensive player of the year
Shawne Merriman: juicer
both going to the Pro Bowl
Shawne's jersey is made available to purchase on NFL.com and not Jason's
was hoping to get that for my b-day
anyone else think this is just wrong?
 
I guess NFL probably feels that the overall popularity of Shawne Merriman is greater than Taylor because even the common person knows who he is besides a die-hard fan. Or for the fact that the NFL has always gave their younger players praise because they are up and coming. Either or.

Get a Dolphins Taylor jersey, they are A LOT better than the Pro Bowl jerseys.
 
Meh, look at it from the other side. If it had been the other way around the Merriman fans would be saying that. You can't make every one happy.

It seems that no matter what the issue is there will always be some one that will take personal offense it whatever it is.
 
Many people already have their Jason Taylor Probowl jerseys. It's about money. No one at NFL.com dislikes Jason. I promise.
 
I think Jason Taylor is a class act and very deserving of the Defensive Player of the Year award!:dolphins:

Merriman did NOT deserve to win the award.
