Maybe we should give Ryan Tannehill a little more time to shake the rust off? It's been a year and a half since he played this season.

I'll admit that he looked awful the 2nd half last week and against the Cheating ****ing Patriots. But, the game was in Foxboro, where ya know, they cheat every single game. That game was kind of expected.

But, I was 100% onboard after game 3 that he maybe finally "Got It", and we had our accurate caretaker QB that can win a Super Bowl, or at least win a playoff game with a chance to represent. Now I don't know again...lol

I think we need to wait and see how the rest of this season plays out before going all in either way. Maybe, just maybe, Ryan Tannehill will dust himself off and lead us to the playoffs with crucial wins down the stretch to seal the deal.

I'll give him that much after 7 years. He owes this to us and to himself and family if he ever wants to be a longtime NFL Starter and get insanely rich in the process. And maybe, ya know, win a Super Bowl. That would be useful.

What do you all think?

there are 1st and 2nd year QBs outplaying tannehill right now. its not rust. its suck.
It did take Rich Gannon 12 years to be elite. We have no choice but to give Ryan Tannehill 7. Just gotta accept it man. Believe, and amazing things can happen.

Yeah absolutely, let's give him 16 games or so to shake it off, then maybe 2 more years to see if he can get in synch with Gase and we can fix the damn line. After that we should give him another contract and see how it plays out, we should know for sure midway throw that next contract, it's only fair !

On top of rust he''s playing with a whole new team essentially. He doesn't trust the line. This isn't even the line from week 1 which he didn't trust either. Stills is the only player outside of Parker that Tannehill had actual game experience with. You could say Jakeem Grant but he was so limited in year 1.

I'm not ready to get rid of him. He's the same player he's always been. When the team helps he's fine but hes never going to win you a game.

Tannehill is having to overcome a lot right now.

HELL yeah man in 5 years Tannehill will be league MVP just like Gannon. It took Tom Coughlin until age 61 to win his 1st SB, Gase is what ? 40 years old....we're on the way!

We can't fix it right now mid season. That's a bet I would never make. But, we can look hard in the offseason to either draft or trade for our new QB. It is what it is. Ryan Tannehill is our QB the rest of the season and we are 3-2.

I think his progression read is about as good as they come. I think his off script is probably his biggest weakness. Which is why he needs consistent o line play.

We had it to start the year we don’t right now. Gase knows it too.
