Here is my list of prospects that I consider potential first round picks at this time:

Matt Leinart QB Southern California
Andrew Walter QB Arizona State
Kyle Orton QB Purdue
Carnell Williams RB Auburn
Cedric Benson RB Texas
TA McLendon RB North Carolina State
Mike Williams WR Southern California/CFL?
Braylon Edwards WR Michigan
Mark Clayton WR Oklahoma
Fred Gibson WR Georgia
Heath Miller TE Virginia
Jon Scott OT Texas
Jamaal Brown OT Oklahoma
Eric Winston OT Miami
Anthony Alabi OT Texas Christian
Michael Munoz OT Tennessee
Wesley Britt OT Alabama
Elton Brown OG Virginia
CJ Brooks OG Maryland
Ben Wilkerson C LSU
Vince Carter C Oklahoma
Matthias Kiwanuka DE Boston College
Marcus Spears DE LSU
Chris Canty DE Virginia
David Pollack DE Georgia
Bill Swancutt DE Oregon State
Rodrique Wright DT Texas
Anttaj Hawthorne DT Wisconsin
Kwakou Robinson DT Virginia
Shaun Cody DT Southern California
Mike Patterson DT Southern California
Dan Cody DT/DE Oklahoma
Derrick Johnson LB Texas
Lance Mitchell LB Oklahoma
Antrell Rolle CB Miami
Marlin Jackson CB Michigan
Cory Webster CB LSU
Carlos Rogers CB Auburn
Chijioke Onyenegecha CB Oklahoma
Donte Nicholson SS Oklahoma
Thomas Davis SS Georgia

I don't think Orton is a first round talent. He lacks arm strength & is product of the spread Purdue system. You forgot probably the #1 OT Alex Barron of Florida State & FS James Butler of Georgia Tech.

Walter & Leinart have everything going for them to be first round QBs.

There's really not anyone left to make the jump to the first round. The U has a lot of underclassman. WR Ryan Moore, LT Eric Winston, RB Frank Gore, DT Orien Harris, CB Kelly Jennings, & CB Glen Sharpe all have a chance to be first rounders in 06 but realistically only Rolle has a chance of being a first rounder next year.

Miami only has 5 starting seniors: QB Brock Berlin, TE Kevin Everett, G Chris Myers, C Joel Rodriguez, & CB Antrell Rolle. Depending on how the d-line rotation works out Santonio Thomas or Alton Wright could start. So at the best 7 starting seniors.

no love for Aaron Rodgers the QB out of cal? His coach alone is going to get him hyped into the first round just like he did for Boller. Jamaal Brimmer the safety out of UNLV is awesome. Great size/speed. Also, you can't sleep on Stan Hill. He missed a lot of last season with an injury but he should be able to catapult himself back into late first - early 2nd round status. Marion Barber RB from minnesota also needs to be on that list.

Like I said in the other thread and I'll post it here, I'm predicting Miami sends 3 maybe 4 first round picks into the pros this following year. Eric Winston, Orien Harris (Javon Nanton, one or the other) (underclassmen linemen), Chris Myers, Antrelle Rolle. Even the Junior college transfer (OL) Tyler McMeans has an excellent shot of going 1st round after this year. The FSU posters are right about Barron though he'll go first round. Seems like your list is overrun with Sooner players, I'm expecting 3 of those that you said to make it in the first round.

The sooners are gna be sending a lot next year.

Strait, Everage, Lehman and Harris left tht awesome D last year and whats rest is headed for the early rounds of next yrs draft
