Just to start this post I will go back on record the picks I would have taken if I were Dolphin GM last year. I posted these players right after the draft last year so its not like I knew what they would do.
1-Brady Quinn (ND)QB looked good in preseason blocked by pro bowler
2-Sidney Rice (SC) WR 31 catches 396 yards 4 td's 4 starts
2-Ryan Harris (ND) T played in 11 games started none backup LT to Lepsis
3-Demarcus Tyler (NCS) DT started one game probably future starter
4-Josh Beekman (BC) G_C appeared in 1 game, still think he will be good
6-Ben Patrick TE Appeared in 8 games, started 3 7 catches 73 yards 2 td
6-Julian Wilson(UAB) T played no games for us was on practice squad
7-Earll Evertett (FL) LB did not play on falcons roster
7-Deshawn Wynn(Fl) RB played 7 games started 4 203 yards rush 73 rec 4td
7-Ramzee Robinson(al) CB played in six games

I still like my draft although no proven homerun like Satale at this point although Harris or Beekman might have cracked he line in fact both would have been forced to play early. I think Rice would have had a better year because he would have started more games for miami. P and FB would have signed free agents for. I'm fairly sure with the possible exception of Everett and Wilson all of these guys would have made the team and been decent contributers. I still liked the longterm value of this possible scenario.

Give him credit Rick Speilman nailed that pick, of course AD on the first round was gift from the football gods.

Didn't Sidney rice go in the first round? Making it difficult for Miami to select him in the second?

No Rice was picked with the 44th overall in the second round , four pick below where John Beck was picked. Me personally I would have much rather have the combo of Quinn and Rice than Beck and Ginn!
