I was bored and thought it would be interesting to go back and look at what was being said as we made our picks last year. I found it interesting what some smart and not so smart fans thought about our picks and what other teams were doing.

I made it easy on anyone else that might find this interesting:

97 Hartline

I shake my head looking back at the Pat WHite pick. A couple people called it, many I think tried to be enthusiastic and a few got it right. Terrible pick. Sintim and Barwin were still on the board.

I tried to go back and look at the the response to the Ginn pick but couldn't find it. I'm assuming there was a draft thread that year so I don't know why it not showing up on search.

We'll be going back this time next year, looking back and saying "Wow, I'm so glad that we drafted Dez Bryant, I mean he's already made the Pro Bowl, had 1500 yards receiving and 15 TD's while leading the Fins to a 16-0 record!"

Love the optimism but with or without Dez Bryant, we won't be 16-0.

Here is what I posted on another board when we drafted each player, for some reason I didn't write anything about Davis on that board, but I wasn't high on him. I thought he was physical, but got burnt way too much and had too much baggage. Glad I was wrong.

what is going on!!!!??? We just drafted Patrick Turner, when Juaquin Iglesias was still on the board!!!!!!!!!! UGH! We should've just traded up to get Ramses Bardon. I'm looking up info on this Turner kid and he wasn't that impressive at all.;

Dolphins go back to back WR's. Now they get WR Brian Hartline out of Ohio State. I would've rather had Robiskie out of Ohio State tbh. Hartline didn't have that good of a college career, last year with 21 receptions for 479 yards and 4 TD's. I hope Parcells and his guys know what they are doing with Louis Murphy still on the friggin board.

I could see Safety Chris Clemons playing a role on the team next year. Other than that, only Brian Hartline is the only other player on the 2nd day that I could see really having an impact.

VERY interesting pick in the 2nd round, Pat White. This will be fun to watch.

Dolphins take CB Sean Smith 61st overall.
I love the pick. I had him projected to go to the Titans at #30, so to get him at #61 is great value. The only thing that would've made this draft better was to get Everette Brown at that #44 spot. Damn Panthers and them trading up

Just so I don't feel left out

DRAFT TED GINN JR!!!! haha im a huge fan of that bandwagon and even though i think jarret is a great reciver i think a guy like ted ginn jr could be a real playmaker and momentum changer that we desperately need!!!

LITTLE DID HE KNOW WHAT KIND OF MOMENTUM CHANGER GINN WOULD BE..

I don't think I posted in that thread, but I remember loving the Davis and Smith picks, hating the White pick, disliking the Turner pick and liking the Hartline pick.

Initially, I didn't know who Brian Hartline was, but once I read more about him and saw some youtube clips, I started liking pick.

do you know what the post numbers are? because my threads are different, i think i default them to show more posts per page, so page 43 is the 2nd round already for me

i usually dont react good or bad when we draft some one unless He comes from the Big East or ive seen him play alot... the only guy i was happy we drafted was Sean and Pat White. But i do remember seeing Hartline physicality in college...i liked that about him.

I must like you, I wouldn't do that for some rookie poster :buds:
The funnest thing is to go back a page before the pick and see what people are thinking.
