A lot of questions answered about White and Turner

To tell you the truth. Every time I see White in the game I get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I would much rather see Henne under center or Ronnie in the Wildcat when it comes down to crucial situations during the game.

Its 50-50 with me man. I mean I always hate to throw the offense off by switching qbs but on the other hand imagine being on the otherside! You know the defense is thinking Uhh ohh whats he going to do now? Keeping the D on their heels gives us more chances to make plays period

Four Dolphins rookies had major roles Sunday -- Vontae Davis, Sean Smith, Brian Hartline and Chris Clemons. But what's the deal with Pat White (13 snaps all season) and Patrick Turner (who hasn't played)?

Its not realistic to get a superstar with every pick every year. I think that 4 out of those 6 is pretty darn good. While the jury is still out on White and Turner its far to early to be passing any kind of judgement on them at this point.

A small skinny qb who struggles w/ Accuracy, says alot. Some great value in that 2nd round pick huh?

People seem to forget that not every player comes in rookie year and takes a starting role... 4 out 6 starting is way above average and also shows our overall lack of depth at certain positions.. Whoever expected turner to be starting is probably playing too much madden lol

I hated the pick from day one...i knew we might go after white....i just kept saying no no no....mistake !

true that

the thing that stood out to me was the fact that the reason he has not taken anyone's spot is because he cant play special

I like what i have seen from Hartline
and to think the reason he is on the field and Turner isn't is because of ST
makes me feel a little bit better about Turner
im okay with Hartline being ahead of Turner even though its just cause of ST(even tough that might not be the only reason)

The Dolphins were disappointed by White's erratic accuracy this summer, and though he has gotten better, White said more improvement is needed

anybody watch the throws he made in college? or his combine performance?

give the dude a chance

they put him in a pro-style offense, took away his glove and probably changed his delivery

shut up already

I thought we took him "too early", but we took him when we needed to if we wanted him.

Belichick had him in a few times for a look and the Pats were sitting on a pile of picks. Taking a flier on a guy like White when you can afford to (Pats), and keep him away from a division rival (Fins) who were clearly interested in him, well, we had to pull the trigger early or move on. Makes it more of a boom or bust pick than I would have liked, no question about that. I'm hoping they find a place for him somehow and that it eventually pays off for us.

Yeh, I scream this exact phrase everytime White comes in a game;

"Nooooo, get him out of there, WTF are you thinking!!"

I also feel a bit nervous when I see him come in. Nothing against him, he was an amazing player in College, but his size/height with lack of exceptional speed (Like the canine killer in Philly) will make it very tough for him to succeed in the NFL.
