I wanted to let you Floridians know I'm thinking of you in the aftermath of Charley. In return, I'd like you to think good thoughts for me.
I went to Urgent Care on Thursday with a 103-degree fever and was diagnosed with kidney infection. The good news is I'm feeling better already (GOOD antibiotics). The bad news is I'm going to miss a turn on my weekly column. But hang in there, I'll post again the week of Aug. 23.
