I have tried to fight it and not see the perfect missing piece of the puzzle that is the Miami Dolphins. I even argue with friends about my disdain for his worshippers. But, alas, I have come to the conclusion that the most sensible, complementary, and available player out there that can help immediately improve Miami is… gulp… Tim Tebow.

New offensive coordinator Brian Daboll was already a big fan of the Wildcat, and used it effectively last year in Cleveland with receiver Josh Cribbs running the show. While it has been hinted that Daniel Thomas will take over as the Wildcat pivot, imagine Tebow being the situational Wildcat/goal line specialist instead. It would keep Thomas fresher, put Tebow back in the shotgun where he is comfortable, and give more of a throwing threat, albeit limited, to the formation that the Dolphins used to strictly run the ball in the past. In such a scenario, Tebow could be coached along slowly as a tight end, while still using his skills in packages the Dolphins already have in place. The word is he could be had cheaply as well. (Editor’s note: rumor is the Dolphins have Phillip Merling on the block, a good pairing with the Broncos.)

While most in South Florida would hate nothing more than thousands of Gator fans getting behind Miami for the sake of their Chosen One, one thing UF has is important: numbers. Stephen Ross has to know this would be a slam dunk success for marketing as Tebow could come back to the Sunshine State and be utilized in a way where people wouldn’t be showing up to see him ride the bench.

Everyone knows the Dolphins need help at quarterback, especially in the red zone. But they already have the “pro-style” quarterbacks in Chad Henne and Matt Moore. Tebow would be just the kind of change of pace player that would complement them well, and keep defenses on their toes. If he became the tight end I think he can be, he could be on the field for well over half the offensive snaps, while being the team player most appreciate regarding his character and work ethic.

And if the Dolphins brought in Tebow,we would need even more help at QB and go to hell in a handbag !!! Im tired of hearing all these nonsense reason us "Tebows haters",really hate him. We really hate him, playing wise because he cant play in the NFL,its that plain and simple.

The college game is different, you have a different level of competition, you have recievers that are quicker and more talented than the oppositions players, thus your recievers are more open and the college QB has a bigger window in which to fit the ball,in the college game you can run the ball as a QB more because the defense is again, slower, and undersized many times, and you can even run over most guys, except for Tebow getting hammered, errr stoned by the Kentucky defensive guy that is,lol. Anyway, for the most part, you can run over guys, not in the NFL though,he's not fast enough and he's gonna get hammered. I know somebody said well he did it some last year, but the defense catches on to a guy pretty quick in the NFL,and has already started to this year in preseaon.

The guys mechanics is awful, can we forget about all these QB with no future and concentrate on hoping Henne and the guys we have this year, with the added help will get the job done,or for once in next years draft, trade everything, move up and get one of the QB's in the draft who are projected at having a real future. Im tired of all the project QB,my God make them go away !!!!!

Like I have said, I think Tebow is not a bad option to have as the #3 guy on THIS team. With the #3 QB being able to compete at any time of the game this year, I think Tebow could definitely offer some "diversity" for this offense in the redzone. Maybe that isn't the biggest vote of confidence in Chad Henne . . . but then ask yourself why do teams put defensive tackles in during goal line situations and they end up scoring TD's? It's whatever works, and Tebow would bring a different element to a redzone offense that struggled last year.

Now I'm not saying give up a bunch of picks to acquire him . . . but if the guy is cut, or if he can be had for cheap . . . I don't see why we wouldn't take a look.

Pretty sure I saw FinAtic post this thread a day or two ago, 1 star trash

the guy averaged 1 rushing touchdown per game if that's trash then sign me up for some trash
Tebow at tightend would give defenses something to think about will he catch it run it pass it?
the more flexible this team is the harder it will be for defenses to stop them..
