Last season the Dolphins had a few games where they couldnt manage to hold on to the ball. The Turnovers seem to come in bunches with this team. This could mean that we got it out of our system early as well as against an NFC team and non division opp. Of all the teams we could have a **** up against ATL was one of the best for our season

We only had 13 turnovers all of last year, now i may be wrong but i seriously doubt we had any game with more than 2 ... so if that qualifies as "bunches" than what exactly would a 4 turnover day be called?

I'm tired of people pointing out that MIA only had 13 turnovers last year and had 4 Sunday. That was LAST year. Every team will have a game like that in the NFL where they seem to turn it over non stop.

There is no good time to turn the ball over in bunches. That being said, maybe, it was good to get it out of the way early.

I read Sparano knows the percentages of how likely it is to win after 1 turnover, 2, etc...

In one of my stats classes, in college, I learned of something called the Poisson distribution. Without doing any research or running any tests, I'd bet 4 turnovers a game is rare.

Hopefully, the 09 season opener and the 08 Wildcard game against the Ravens were the law of averages balancing out what was an impressive if not phenomenal streak for the 2008 season.
