I came within a hair the other day of posting that it would be interesting to see what Dolphin fans would think of acquiring Jonathan Vilma, assuming the Dolphins are not willing to meet Crowder's demand.

Given his arrrest, it looks like he is another one who just can't seem to keep his act together, though to be honest I can't recall if he has had an other mishaps.

The Dolphins may be better off staying clear of him. Any takers?

Vilma is a 4-3 LB, he does not fit the 3-4, that's why the Jets traded him.

As expressed earlier, experience has shown him to be less effective in a 3-4 defence. He's better off sticking to a 4-3.

true, but Vilma is a player i don't want in a 3-4. he's shown that he can't play well in that scheme.
