A Question About Jerseys

Yesterday, I got my authentic Brown jersey in the mail, and I was pulling out my Marino and Clayton jerseys to get them ready for the upcoming season.

I noticed that my old jerseys were made by Champion, but all of the new ones, including my Brown and the A. Smith jersey I bought for my cousin, are made by Reebok. My Warriors/Richardson jersey is also from Reebok.

Did Reebok become the official distributor of NFL, NBA, etc. some time in the last fifteen years? Does anyone else have any old jerseys, and are they made by Reebok or Champion? I bought the old ones in sports stores in the mall, so I'm sure they're not flea market knock-offs.

Yes, Reebok is the sole official supplier of NFL jerseys. They bought the contract with the NFL a few years ago.

anyone else other than me prefer the old style of jerseys marino wore when he was a rookie? I think the # font on these suck...they look like some tyedye guy ironed em on in his garage as the low bidder and the GM jumped on it...lol

What's the difference between "official" and replica? I've seen replica's sold at big time chains so I'm assuming they are not just cheap illegal knockoffs.

Authenic are like the ones players wear with sewn names and numbers...replica are mesh with silk-screened numbers and names.
