A Question here .......

Let me say first that let bygones be bygones but I cannot help but ask this question.

We have seen Gus for a few weeks and Sage recently, do you honestly think AJ Feeley was worse than them both or just that Feeley and Saban/Linehan (staff) had some kind of philosophical differences? I will say that the Feeley we saw last year played better and won some games than Gus and Sage. Although, I will also say Gus probably has played 2-3 good games for us this year. But Feeley was new to this offensive system and Gus had experience in this system.

I know what is done is done but still begs this question.

My question with AJ was always his intelligence. I don't know that he ever would have picked up the system. Just for comparisons sake. I will still have to stay with Gus.

aj also made WAY more money than he was worth we had to get rid of if him if feeley was makin league minimum he would probably still be here but we had to dump that salary and hopefully give it to a QB that has buisness starting n the NFL unlike all our expirements

feeley might have done better if he was given more time to learn the system etc. but sage had the same amount of time and beat out feeley i think the right choice was made

Feeley was worse than Frerotte but probably not Sage. The arm strength is about the same for all 3 players, but Frerotte's pocket precense is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Feeley or Sage's.

There was definitely more to it.

I dunno if we would be better with him.

I think he is the better QB the Frerotte.

But I just dunno how he would have done on the team.

All I know is he played well last year when he had time. So he would have obviously been better here this year.

He got a bum wrap IMO. I mean these excuses that Frerotte is getting are some of the same things that happened to Feeley last year.

Frerotte is making the same mistakes. The only difference is that the defense caught Feeley's passes. The defenses are getting there hands on alot more passes of Frerottes then they ever did with Feeley but they aren't catching them.

So it's a matter of perception.

Actually I do think we would have been better with Feeley. But i don't necissarily think he was the future of the team.

Gus did enough to merit that he could atleast keep miami in the game. All Aj ever did was kind of give away the game.
