why do you guys hate him so much? i know he had a bad year last year and we gave up to much for him but he is a dolphin and he is our qb. the guy showed flashes last year maybe he will get better maybe he wont, but this i know if it was a rookie in there last year throwing all them int's you guys yould say ahh he is a rookie its just growing pains! feeley was pretty much a rookie last year new team new system and not to metion the worst o-line and rushing game in the nfl give the guy a chance this year and then if he stinks it up then start saying he sucks!

He stunk! enough said!

Yeah you shouldnt say anymore if that is the best you can come up with. I respect your opinion, disagree, but respect it, but please stop acting as if it is that cut and dry.

I don't hate him. I don't have a feel for how he will develop. I did see improvement from his first few games throughout the rest of the dreadful season and, don't see how any rational person COULDN'T have some doubt that he has to be cut some slack in light of the dreadful lineplay and zero running game we had last year. Just looking at it from an as objective point as I can, you've got to hope he can develop rather than throw away a 2nd round pick on the guy. The thing most troubling about his play, for me, is that although he delivered when it counted in a few situations, he just doesn't look comfortable. Then again, it was a tough, tough situation for OTJ training.

I think the staff OWES it to the organization to give him a very serious opportunity to develop unless they believe there's some aspect about him that he can't get beyond.

I think he absolutely sucked last year, and all the excuses didn't add up IMO, but I wouldn't be opposed to him starting again this year, because that would mean he beat out Gus Frerote who I think would do pretty well with the system, and the talent we have in place on this team. So If Feeley wins the job, then more power to him!!!!

Excellent post.

I am a Feeley supporter and I think he will turn out to be a good QB. But if Gus is our starter that means he is the better QB for Saban.

I just want a fair shot!! May the best QB win and hopefully Feeley.

I've never been a Feeley hater, or a Fiedler hater as a matter of fact. I just don't like to hear people saying "its feeleys job to lose". Imo its Gus Frerottes job to lose. AJ Feeley was the worst starting QB in the nfl last year. Gus Frerotte knows Linehans system, and he has more experience. Those are two critical advantages. I think if Feeley beats out Frerotte in training camp he deserves the job, but from what i've seen i just dont see it happening.

I just don't think we can judge him accurately based on last year.

Give him a REAL offensive system with a REAL offensive line and a REAL running back and see how he does.

love the avatar! hate your reply! there is only one reason why gus is here and thats lineham! grantit he did ok backing up culpepper when needed, but when AJ came into back up mcnabb in philly he did a good job! with that being said/wrote recap last year...............jay your in..........no AJ your in...........um i dont know(wanny) I quit! I guess my question to all you AJ haters is which QB in the league could have made real impact and carried are team with what we had?

no coach no running back, an a$$ load of backup players on offense that didnt even know are game plan. I live near tampa and let me tell you if you do not know, how many QBs came out of their and won superbowls? Enough! So give AJ one real chance, dont throw the kid under the bus like wanny did!
OH PS if feeley cant produce lets get rid of Qb that names start with F,fiedler, feeley, ferrote. lets try a last name with an M. you know Marino, Manning something like that
:)

There can only be one starter. Doesn't mean he will last. We need both QB's health and ready. Learn the playbook and be ready that's all I ask from Feeley and Ferotte And Sage And Berlin. Get me what I want, a ring.
