What are the Dolphins saving Travis Minor FOR? Looks like your coach has taken a page out of Shanahan's Playbook.

Travis Minor has NO negative yardage. So why is he getting the ball so seldom?

Kind of hard to read, so
1 for 3 yards vs Houston
5 for 27 at NY
1 for 11 at Jacksonville
1 for 11 vs Indy
3 for 22 at Tennessee + 1 five yard reception.

The rest of the time he was not used at all. Just seems kind of odd when they are struggling so much with the ground game. Have to wonder how many yards he would get if they would let him touch the ball a few more times per game? JMHO!

Well i didn't agree until lately,but with our O-line like it is it looks like Minor might have a better chance at getting down field! He looks alot better this year! Maybe cause Henry looked so good it pushed him!

Good question, Becky. I've wondered often about that right here numerous times. The only thing i can figure is that Wannstedt has Minor saved up in his IRA portfolio or som'n!!

I've said it til i'm blue in the face......use him WITH Ricky not instead of (unless Ricky needs a breather), in the slot and even mix him in at WR. Minor catches the ball as well as any wR we have anuyway, so......................... oh well, you got the picture !! ;)

I'm sorry. I missed the debate on this. :cry: Too busy reading up on Brian I guess. ;) I would sure like a link to this topic. Probably still wouldn't understand though. I would just like to see the opinions others have on WHY?

One of the other reasons a lot of us thought may be the reason for Shanahan's *&^$*# playcalling was, "he must be saving (Name the RB) for the SB. Trouble is, it seems like you gotta get there in the first place. :confused:

Are you kidding? When did they announce that? I was really hoping they would use him more today and with PS and ZT back, they would get a couple of Ints for TDs and Miami had a chance.
