A quick question

I'm not new just have a question: I want to post some pics here like a bunch of people have. How do you post pics? I clicked on the icon with the mountain, but then theres this hyperlink thing where I have to type something? I used to right click and copy then paste, or drag pics to. But I don't know exactly how to get the pics on here and how to change the size if I can. Do you guys that post them use the pics off of the internet from what you've found on google, or are they saved pics on your comp. or both? I want to use pics that I have saved, to get them on this and post some.
