This is a real good question. To me, the last 2 drives of the game by the Fins are puzzling. If we can get 9 points on 2 drives, why couldn't get have already had 24+ points the first 3 quarters? Are we as good as the last 2 or as bad as the first 3+ quarters?
Possibilities
1) Not playing with a sense of urgency
2) Cpep and the offense finally broke loose, and will continue to play like this from now on.
3) Houston let up some on defense to avoid the big play, and our yards/points in that situation do not accurately reflect the state of our offense.
4) Our playcalling during those drives is better suited to our strengths on offense, and we need to run those plays more.
5) Law of averages - we are averaging ~13pts/game, so the scores just got us closer to our "typical" point production/game
I really hope it's #2, but I tend to think it's a mix of #3 and #5. #4 implies using RB even less, which does not seem smart.
Any other ideas?
