A Really Early Viewing Into Your Crystal Ball...

Did Buffalo not need a 61 yard FG (after a 15 yard penalty by a former Bill) to squeak by us in the last few seconds of the game? Do you really think they are going to take us lightly?

Was Miami not up 31-0 against New England?

Did the Dolphins not finish 6-3 (really 6-2) last year? Only losing to only some of the best teams in the league (on the road)? But ya, Aaron Rodgers was able to outplay Tyler Huntley. Let's see Justin Fields outplay Tua.

Did the Dolphins not address their biggest flaws on offense?

Has Tua ever had a losing record? If your positive he's going to miss significant time and that's the basis for your opinion, fine, understandable. But if your going to say a Tua lead team won't compete for the division, that's just non sense.
That was last year dude! This year the Dolphins will probably be worst and the Patriots will be better under Vrabel. The Dolphins have no secondary! They will get torched unless their pass rush is elite every game. Catch a clue and take off your aqua colored glasses for once!

I think we finally made moves to improve our "future" and we should have taken this approach several years ago. We are getting better in the trenches, and that is good! However, CB is going to be a major issue, and it is going to take a bit for the rookies to start playing to form (see Chop Robinson last year). We are going to be young in a lot of areas.

Secondly, although I don't mind McD as a coach, he has not shown me anything to suggest he will be a better play caller this year. His plays take too long to get in, leaving no time to adjust. They are repetitive, especially in goal to go and big 3rd down situations, and as a whole are too east and west and not north/south. He needs to give up play calling immediately.

I hope I am wrong, but I think enjoyment from this year is going to be watching our young players grow, getting rid of overpriced divas, and finally having draft picks to build with again next year. I really see us as a 6-8 win team this year. Hopefully that at least gets Grier out of here, and put McD on the hot seat if we are still a soft team that lacks discipline and the ability to tackle.

Roster was terrible last year. I couldn't believe posters on here were saying division title over bills. Roster is better this year
Of course all the people saying we are going to suck so bad this year were the same ones that were saying we were going to beat buffalo for division and that the bills would not be as good without diggs etc. lol excuse me if I don't put much weight into their projections.

The roster should be better in some spots but not in the secondary especially at CB.

Impossible to say before the schedule is out and the summer is over. The fact that their CBs aren’t figured out yet proves it’s too early to predict. If Ramsey is gone and they have Marshall Jr. and Storm Duck at CB, they’ll be somewhere along the lines of one of the worst teams in the league.

This team is not good. With a bad draft added in am not sure we don't finish last in the division.

Bills are the team to beat.

NE is a team that had alot of youth with an up and coming QB.

JETS had easily the best draft of the whole division. They got some damn good player. Also to add a whole Management we will see where it goes in the 1st year.

Miami I would say probably the least talented team in the division overall. It will be a battle between us NE and Jets for the scraps of 2nd place

1. Tua when on the team healthy, gives Miami an offense that rarely scores under 20 points.

2. Miami is about to have a pass-rushing lineup of 2nd year Chop Robinson, Bradley Chubb, and a hopefully healthy Jaelen Phillips.

3. Miami added a quality guard In FA, and drafted one of the best Linemen expected to play Guard from the draft, fixing the area that most hurt the O-Line.

4. Miami added two big RBs to go with their athletic, fast RBs they already had.

5. Miami had a TE that was hardly used most of the year in Jonnu Smith, but once they started including him, they found another big weapon.

6. Miami drafted huge, talented DTs that will bring more power to control.the middle, add to that Grantnis very capable to also give a bit of pass-rushing from the middle, the D-Line has become more of an issue to control by an O-line.

7. Like him or hate him, Hill is back, and he is still an issue to cover, along with Waddle, and Washington, but Miami also added two big receivers that could bring even better targets for Tua.

8. Miami does have issues in the secondary, but because Miami already had a bunch of solid Corners, the issue with the secondary is not as horrible as some may believe. Also Miami is going to eventually bring in a vet or two, to help the secondary, so that should get better soon.

9. Even if The Pats and Jets had a better off-season (Still to be seen), Miami was so far better then both those teams, all that did was bring them closer to Miami's level, then actually overtaking Miami. Before the season was over, Miami was closer to the Bills, then the Pats & Jets were of Miami, so Miami falling apart only means injuries killed them, not that either of those teams got much better.

There isn't a world where Grier takes this team anywhere close to a superbowl and rooting for a wildcard spot, is the exact same thing as rooting for Grier to keep his job.

Hate me if you want for being honest but rooting for Grier to keep his job is rooting for my favorite team to continue down the path to no where and I'm not going to pretend like you have the best long term interests of the club in mind while rooting for Grier & co to sneak into the playoffs, just to get embarrassed again and keep their jobs.

Glad to hear you are so enthusiastic about this team.We will see when the dust settles how Miami does.
And to be quite honest idc if we beat NE and The Jets in the division. If we can't win the division we don't matter.
Hope I am wrong but probably not

We have some talent (especially if Chubb and JP return close to form) but I don’t think we have the leadership or toughness to compete for division titles. The team comes out flat almost every week. I don’t see a strong head coach so I’m guessing a 7 win season most likely I also think NE may have a leg up on us but I could see us splitting with them

Now, 44% of NFL teams make the playoffs (which is a joke just like MLB and the NBA now it is made for TV bs that so many teams go to the playoffs). Even with it being that easy to make the playoffs in the NFL, the Dolphins likely once again will not be going. Which is pretty effing said if you ask me. Just pathetic. It is so easy to make the playoffs in the NFL, it shouldn't even be considered an achievement. I could probably throw darts at a board and put together a team that makes the playoffs. Heck, it is not too hard to win a playoff game. You know what the hardest thing to do is? To NOT win a playoff game for 24 years straight. Yup, it is harder to do that than it is to win a Super Bowl. That is how much this organization has sucked.

My crystal ball says, wait it’s my magic 🎱. Not determined wait tell the second part of free agency is over.

If you’re assuming Phillips and Chubb contribute very little I might give that but nobody will ever convince me the pass rush doesn’t make or break a secondary.
