In a way, from a public and fan sentiment standpoint, I think Graham may even be right. I mean, you have a ton of people out there that already consider Ginn to be one of the biggest draft debacles in Dolphins history. There's just so much surrounding it that makes it such a lightning rod selection. The Brady Quinn snub. How many people still have a bad taste in their mouth about taking Ginn over Quinn even though Quinn hasn't done jack sh-t in t he NFL yet? The "Ted Ginn family". A horrible explanation provided to the fans by an awkward public speaker who turned out to be just as awkward as a leader of men. The fact that this was the, or at least one of the top move(s) of the off season, for a team that ended up 1-15 and the most embarrassing in Dolphins history.
But it just goes to show you how widely held fan sentiment can be so strong about something, without having any basis in fact. I like Graham's analogy that if Ginn were a $5 scratch-off ticket, he'd be a $3 winner. So far, that is absolutely the case. But, one or two more years...who knows?
